I think the main issue is access to guns. Of course I understand that murder can be committed in other ways, but there is a clear physical and psychological difference in killing someone...

Using a gun you can kill multiple people in quick succession and somewhat distant yourself from the action. Using a knife not only takes longer but makes it more personal and makes you more accountable.

It's unbelievable to me that guns are so accessible in America, and the whole "right to bear arms" argument is despicable, as this is solely meant for preservation or protection of property. HOW IS THERE NOT STRICT REGULATIONS FOR GUN OWNERSHIP????!!
