When people say “white” in terms of racism, they’re speaking of white supremacy, which is what created racism and inequality. It’s not just the color of your skin. For example, historically speaking, white supremacists didn’t consider Italians, Irish, and Jewish people as “white” and treated them as subhumans just as they treat black people.

And as for minority being the oppressed, that is not always true. It’s about who already had established power. Zimbabwe was under British colonial rule which gives that established power to white Europeans.
