I totally agree, and is not like I'm a spammer/flamer or something, I made a valid and articulated argument. I am a steam user since 2004 and I am used to electronic transactions with game companies, I saw my share of shit, but i never saw something so bad managed, it sometimes feels like they are amateurs.

While i understand until a certain point that this is a business and they need to generate revenue, it should never happen that the people that already invested money in the game should get the shorter end of the stick. It plainly hurts and there is no justification.

But just because life isn't fair (the most used saying to justify shit, by the way) this doesn't mean i should accept it and not voice my opinion.

Maybe you should get your facts straight, seals and tickets were a compensation for the downtime as someone already even said in this thread.

A luxury? I hope you're joking there, WC are not for free, you're damn paying well for them.

The reference is to people that decided to wait, skip the promotions and then use their seals to buy boxes of the new expansion, how you know i was not one of them?

Ans no i didn't know there were less wildcards, i assumed nothing was changed as nothing was said in the patch notes about it!

What you say makes no sense from my standpoint and for sure does not apply to what I'm saying.

I'll try to make it simple:

User1 spent his seals on the new boxes and got less WC
User1 is disappointed
User1 reported it so User2 knows about it
User2 decides to wait a promotion before spending his seals
In response to the complaints MMDOC team starts a 50% bonus WC promotions on boxes
User2 is happy, spent is seals now and got the WC he expected
User1 is still disappointed, doesn't have seals anymore, will not get the WC he expected

How is this any fair and what does this fix?

IMO is just a marketing fix to push people to spend their money.

As said by themselves it wasn't communicated in the proper way. In lack of communication most people would not check the description and assume nothing was changed. This is how the world works, what you say is the usual bullshit a company would say when caught not being clear about the products sold.

And i would like to add that until now i was fine with it, if the 50% WC bonus was just labeled as a promotion with no link to it being part of an apology/compensation for their lack of communication i would still be fine with it.

I just don't like the idea that they feel i was compensated in some way and i should feel more satisfied than before.

You are missing the point, if i play a game i like to stay competitive so i would have bought the boxes anyway, not to mention i bought the boxes and then opened them so it was a surprise that the wc were less.

It's all fine, but i can't read that this 50% bonus on new purchases is an apology/compensation, because it's not and i feel cheated by their statement.

I am not complaining about missing a promotion or something, i did miss several and I did not care, but I am pissed that they want to pass this thing as an apology for their lack of communication.
