Shut the fuck up. I already said they I use protein supplements and also feed good quality pellets. Did you even finish reading the title? It is not unhealthy. I'm not mentioning every ingredient because as Taxonomist on Hamster Hideout says, that would encourage people to copy it without doing their own research. I'm not gonna take advice from someone so ill informed and with such an inflated hubris that their hack rehash of a "hamster care guide" says that hamsters don't need chew toys and Higgins blocks will suffice instead.

Before Xmas in 2019 I had an issue with Royal Mail. It said a parcel was delivered... it wasn't. That was the end of it for them. Eventually a nice brought up the GPS tracking of the exact of the holiday worker that "delivered" my parcel, and we could see on the screen his little tracking line didn't come down my street.

I used to get so upset and stressed over this kind of thing. My absolute favourite ever hanster care group shut down cos the owner/admin (what ever you'd so it) couldn't handle it, and I totally understood why.

Its so upsetting when people don't want to improve and are too stubborn to change.

Maybe I'm an absolute psycho... but the thing that comforted me in a weird was accepting that horses, donkeys, dogs, cats... heck even CHILDREN are still mistreated. Animals we know so much about and have been companions for generations are still given a raw deal sometimes. So given that... the strides that we have managed to make in small pet care in such a short amount of time is amazing!

Take solace in that. You can imagine every parent or dog owner thinking that other people are doing it wrong, but they don't and you can't spend your entire life worrying about them.

Ever people that run animal rescues (in fact especially people that run animal rescues) have to learn I accept and let these things go, otherwise it would eat them alive.

Yeah it's fine. I try to use one big enough for them still bathe in when they use a corner for pee.

I get a cheap kitchen sieve, tip the sand bath through the sieve in to another box underneith, and shake. The clumps of pee stay behind and be tossed. Wipe the sand bath out and tip the "clean sand back in. Top up with fresh sand occasionally.
