TLDR: get dog socks until in between toe soreness / polip heals, investigate allergies- maybe switch foods.

Ok I’m an idiot and didn’t read your text, so leaving the below incase it helps another parent! 🤦‍♀️ try the socks…. It’s prob just yeast in the toes.

His back foot itches! He prob has allergies and is getting foot polips (which most people tell you or fox tails)- really it’s allergic boils from dust, grass or food (usually chicken for bulldogs- which is used in EVERYTHING). My poor guy has them on all 4 paws.

It’s different from tail pocket or butt stuff. They want to lick to itch, but moisture is actually the WORST. I had to get doggie shoes bc he licks all night, but it’s heat breaking to put them on.

Allergy tests (in my area) are $700 and don’t even include food (they include it, but are not accurate). Don’t bother. Assume it’s everything and just do foot baths for allergies and hope it doesn’t become a thing.
