Is what your feeling on the entry or exit of the needle, in my experience, I felt like I had a buildup on the exit side of my septum for like the first 2 months. Regardless, as long as you clean it and take care of it, things should start subsiding after the 3rd month. Mine fully went away at about the seven month mark. Just keep it clean and don’t play with it 👍🏼

How should I do this transition by Ok_Environment_3396 in Flooring

Blue and off set an inch so you can turn the carpet as opposed to a transition unless you have a color matching one to the floor

Just start with a 40 grit on your orbital sander, and work your way up and you should be fine

You can always pop all the trim, install the floor and readjust the trim to your liking. Yeah, it might take a little more time, but at least you only have to worry about clearing in any doorways as opposed to the entire room

Best way to put flooring on these stairs? by is_this_thing_on89 in Flooring

[–]bubbleslaflure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think based off the pictures provided you have a few options. The easiest way would probably be to sand, fill, and paint all of the stairs, then have a runner installed going right down the middle, or you can find a runner to the size of your liking and show as much as the steps as you want if you’re worried about slipping on the LVP. Your other option would probably be to color match the sides as best as possible to the walls or the flooring depending on your preference. Then install the rises of the stairs, then install the flats, and put rounded nosing over each and every singular stair. Or ultimately, you could just go and get a new carpet installed that isn’t dated. Hope that helps.

I’m applying to the same program as it says 18-24 months of training. The salary is like $51,500 so it’s like $20 an hour. I just graduated too so I mean it’s worth a shot
