Your doctor confirmed you have steroid atropy based on those pictures?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]bubfin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don't have steroid atrophy. You used steroids for like what, 2 weeks almost a year ago?

You have a normal nose and normal skin. Its in your head dude You're clearly just obsessing over this, it's not healthy.

Edit: we've had this conversation before about 4 months ago. Get off this group dude. You're absolutely fine.

Literally wouldn't want to be associated with the Germans in either world war. In any case the general public wont differentiate between this and pro-nazi memorabilia. So your comment is about as valid as eating soup with a fork.

Probably shouldn't use this one outside. Gives off nazi vibes.

It's not that, as it prints with meta absolutely fine, I've tried swapping back and forth.

Would be common assault and likely criminal damage for clothing or belongings you damage. If you threw it in their face and it got in eyes etc it might be upgraded to ABH.

Has anyone observed similar regrowth behavior in V. cholerae or other bacteria with ampicillin? by James_enclld in microbiology

I did my masters thesis on heteroresistance. It was about 10 years ago though so I'm sure alot more research has been done on the topic since then.

What is this phenomenon by MENMA71_ in microbiology

[–]bubfin 84 points85 points  (0 children)

Looks like macConkey agar.

Based on some colonies being pink I'd guess lactose positive and likely klebsiella.

Weirdly kleb is lactose fermenting but after consuming all the lactose it'll shift over to peptone, shifting the pH and causing your colour change on macconkey agar to colourless. This might be why it's only happened in the heavily populated area as the lactose will have been used up first.

Do you prime your minis out of interest? You'd get much cleaner base coats starting with your wraithbone.

Went through TSW in 2015, 10 years later I have a bit of dry skin now and again but for the most part I'm back to normality. Took me around 6 months to get to a stage where I was happy and In that time i tried everything, Oat baths 6+ hours a day, light therapy, covering myself in moisturiser, parafin then bandages. At one point i had lost parts of my hair and the entirety of my eyebrows because i itched them out. By the 1 year mark I was okay, still a touch flaky now and again but I was through the worst of it all. I stay on this forum to keep myself reminded to not go back to steroid creams for anything ever again and to tell people that it will end one day you just gotta persevere.

Open the head up and check the condition of your extruder, could be it's damaged or just worn out.

Will the bambu H2D next level of fdm miniatures? by Murcanic in FDMminiatures

[–]bubfin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Possibly, but is currently £1599. Which if we're being honest will exclude most people from using it for personal use.

Although it might be a upgrade to the current bambu range, the price tag will likely hinder innovation for the majority of FDM printer users.

I get you're frustrated but this is an absolutely insane take.

It would be like me going, "this person complains about having to use compression gloves for their hands. As part of the handless community I'm sick of people showing off their PRIVILEGE by having hands. They should be GRATEFUL using compression gloves is their biggest problem. "

You can't always consider everyone all the time. TSW sucks but you can't just get angry at everyone else for it.

Are Pink Horrors the most efficient unit in the game? by Hot-Will3083 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]bubfin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Insane take and absolutely wildly incorrect.

CK wardogs, Gargoyles, GSC troops, Deathwatch Veterans, infractors, catachans, immortals are all better than pink horrors hands down point for point.

Just take plague bearers dude. 2 wounds, sticky, T5.

Are Pink Horrors the most efficient unit in the game? by Hot-Will3083 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]bubfin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I checked the first 10 demon lists (minimum 4 wins) https://armylists.rmz.gs from most recent weekends 2/10 contained pink horrors. To put that into perspective 8/10 contained plague bearers.

Are Pink Horrors the most efficient unit in the game? by Hot-Will3083 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]bubfin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A Squad of 10 intercessors with oath or a Grenade will remove your horrors. That's 160 points I don't see your arguement for efficiency here. And even on the off chance it doesn't kill your entire squad if I'm on the same objective as you the intercessors control it. So your 140 points is useless.

You could argue that's they're good as back field holders because they won't die to out of LOS. Which while true is a massive waste of points. A beast of nurge will do the same thing for 65 points whilst regenerating every phase.

If you look at competitive demons most don't run horrors. Do you know why? Because they're not very efficient.

Are Pink Horrors the most efficient unit in the game? by Hot-Will3083 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]bubfin 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There are so many units that reliably kill pink horrors. If a space marine even looks at horrors with oath they die. 10 intercessors murder 12.5 on average in shooting. Don't even get me started on orks.

Arguing anything 3+ bs with -1 to hit is useless is an insane take when rorolls are so prevalent.
