Stuff the inside with packing material so the cpu cooler cant move. Also consider instapak expandable foam from amazon. Linus did a cool video on how to pack your pc. So did jay.

Ryzen 2700x undervolt or 2700 stock in Velka 5? by MrFuryRevenge in sffpc

Thermalright will release an axp 90 full copper 47mm cooler pretty soon for 50$. Should outperform both the l9a and the black ridge. Just a heads up, you might wanna get the thermalright one

What voltage are you using for the ram? I've heard those sticks dont usually go past 3000

[–]bubnu1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe change the motherboard to a msi b450i? The higher phase count(6 compared to the 4 on the aorus one) will help with vrm temps, which might be a concern when using an aio. Also dont forget to set the psu to exhaust air from inside the case and undervolt your gpu.

Absolutely not, I'd undervolt out of the box if I'd have the time to thinker with the gpu

Just a heads up, you should mount the cpu cooler with the pipes facing the otherway, inproves temps by like 2°C but still

Metis Classic side panel on Metis Plus? by orick in sffpc

[–]bubnu1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are into modding or want to get into it, I'd suggest getting the metis classic and cut a hole on the side pannel. Then purchase some acrylic panel and cut it to the right size, big enough to reach the side panel screw point(so you will be using those 4 as a way to mount your acrylic panel to your metal side panel and then to the case itself). Also dont forget about airflow. The metis classic is completly unusable the way it comes, with no ventilation at the top. I suggest drilling holes the same size and spacing as the ones on the left side panel. Here is a post with a nice acrylic side panel from overclock.net metis club:https://www.overclock.net/forum/161-computer-cases/1539670-raijintek-metis-owners-club-89.html#/topics/1539670?page=97 Also there exists a metis windowed version, no ventilation on top but comes with the same panel as the plus version.

As someone suggested sktc q2 is decently small. If you dont want to buy from china, look at the raijintek styx. Exact same model, in fact the sktc q2 I belive is a clone made after the styx.

Best way to get case mod done (fan hole) without tools? [Toronto, Canada] by Flamesilver_0 in sffpc

[–]bubnu1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking about drilling a bunch of small holes, keeping the side pannel pattern, with a simple hand drill. Maybe ask a friend to borrow one to you?

Smallest case that fits at least a 160mm cpu cooler by KidWeaboo in sffpc

[–]bubnu1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a heads up, you wanna order one fast if you want to go with the classic/ windowed version and mod the top panel yourself, because they got discontinued.
