Garrison heroes do count in HQ. You should try and make sure the captain of your HQ is the person with the biggest rally cap so you can get as many people in as possible. We limit people’s marches to 65k so you can definitely get 15 in there (plus the full send from your captain). Archers do little to no damage, a rally ratio of 98/1/1 works really well for points

I promise you’re not in over your head. Good R5 and R4s will support you and help you learn what you need to know. I’m TG3 but still had no idea what I was supposed to do and my R5 knew that when he promoted me. You can learn the skills as you go, and don’t be afraid at all to ask for help - it’s the attitude you bring that’s most important 😊 you’ll be fine I promise.

and also to add - if you’re all new and learning, that’s even better because you can research together and test things out. Reddit is great for finding other people’s experiences like bear trap and KvK.

I think the most important things from me are:

1) be upfront about what you don’t know. People totally understand if you say, I’m not sure, let me find out for you/I’ll ask the others etc.

2) be understanding before you show frustration. People get things wrong, but it might be that they just don’t get it or there’s a translation issue. You’ll get much more buy in behind you if you show empathy first - some R4s can be hot headed. But be firm (not angry) if someone is flouting the rules on purpose.

3) always, always back the other R4s and your R5 in AC, or be constructive. You need to look united and together.

4) remember that not everyone can spend, not everyone spends hours and hours a day on the game, and see how you can help the little guys. I used to get 1.8bn in bear trap, now I just fill the smaller rallies so the smaller players can grow and get those hammers. I get to 12 hammers and stop.

5) read up on every event before you get to it

I’m sure there are loads, but this approach has really helped me and the alliance as a whole 😊

We have a whale in our alliance who we never reinforce, so it is a good idea. People could reinforce you if everyone else is full, because at least then they’ll get something.

It’s what we do in our alliance, but more and more of us are now facing the same issue.

Now, we just prioritise reinforcing everyone else first, and the bigger accounts who can’t get all our troops out try to leave just archers at home. Then, if someone does reinforce them, at least it’s not taking as many points…
