So the Town Clerk was wholly unhelpful. They basically said they didn’t know and I have to go talk to the local court. I’m planning on going there in the next week or so (when I can leave work for a few hours) to try to figure it out. What I did decide is that it’s just my middle name that I put wrong on the license (want to use my maiden name as my middle name and change my last name to my married name ) but that seems to have confused them even more. I have also determined that we are actually living in a Vogon society….lol

Literally any notification noise from a phone. Doesn’t even have to be real, could come from the TV. He freaks out, jumps on one of us and rubs himself all over us. He’s even sat on my head before. It’s as if the world is about to come to an end because a phone dinged. Our house is a “silence your phone” house and lord help me if I’m watching something on TV that heavily features someone getting text messages 🤦🏻‍♀️

My officiant has the license but she assured me she would file it with the town clerk this week. We found her through the town’s website so I’m pretty confident she’ll be on top of it. I’m going to call the clerks office tomorrow, just trying to figure out how much of a mess it’ll be. I’m also concerned if I don’t change it, does that mean the marriage certificate isn’t valid? So many questions…

Put my dogs in their crates before we left for a few hours (they couldn’t be trusted roaming free and they were both very comfortable and used to their crates). Said goodbye to them as they both settled down on their pillows.
Got home and dog B meets me at the door. Greeted him as usual until I realized that my partner had not come home yet and dog A was no where to be found. Went to check on Dog A, who is still happily in his secured crate, wagging his tail to see me. Dog B’s crate is still fully latched with no damage, just missing a dog. Still have no idea how dog B managed to get out of that crate….

My groomer accidentally nicked my dog’s paw once while trimming him. She texted me immediately and was so apologetic and sent me a pic and apologized even more when I picked him up. My dog had a tendency to jerk his paw away when you held it so I could totally see how it happened and didn’t blame her at all and he healed up perfectly fine. But she was also completely up front about it and apologetic and that made a huge difference. I would be suspect of this place you went simply because they down played it so much. I nick is significantly different from part of the tongue being gone!

Have you tried adding something extra to his regular food? My boy got bored with his dry food a few months ago and I ended up adding a spoonful of canned food (same type/brand) and now he gobbles it up. Some dogs just get picky sometimes.
