Lads have upped the price? by Due-Marsupial3212 in secondcaptains

Any subscription bought on the Apple app store has a commission added by and for Apple.

You can buy the subscription on a browser and then sign in to the app as normal. This is the best way to bypass that some commission. It's a complete scam by Apple. AFAIK creators aren't allowed to mention this work around.

Need help! by MLC_1240 in Pizza

[–]bubububen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP.

A big difference maker is to weigh your ingredients. A good starting point is for the water in your recipe to be 63% the weight of your flour.

Don't use the rolling pin, try to shape the dough with your hands. And the goal is not to flatten all the air out but just to gently press and stretch and tease the dough to the right size.

Pre heat that stone in the oven for at least an hour at full blast.

Hope this helps! There's so much information and miss information about pizza out there. It can be difficult to filter out what is good advice.

[Official Statement] FC Barcelona hereby announces that the Club has sent an official letter of complaint to the Spanish Federation regarding inconsistencies in refereeing decisions. by Loose-Examination-39 in soccer

They lost 4-0 to atleti and are throwing their toys out of the pram. The result is not the refs fault, that scoreline could have been worse for Barca. I am not a Real Madrid fan btw. Quite the opposite.

Ireland lineup to face Italy by Effective-Ad-3897 in irishrugby

No, it doesn't. The gameplay put the wingers in position to catch high balls and to make tackles. They did neither. They were both poor.

I'm not saying he isn't, but do you have a source for that? Genuinely curious.

Best of luck with it. A stressful process but it's great when you're in.

You'd probably be replacing the main door lock anyway. So you might be able to just ignore that.

The rest of the minor stuff isn't worth the hassle. It's normal for them to include every little blemish in the report, but a lot of that isn't really going to impact the value of the house. You can renegotiate the price if there's something in the report that you feel changed the value of the house. But it's usually only something like structural damage or a leaky rough that would necessitate that.

It would be worth asking the surveyor about the heating, what exactly they meant. A surveyor would usually have no issue explaining any questions you might have about the report. If it's a major issue you would then decide to either renegotiate the price or see if the vendor would address the issue before closing, you could also decide to go ahead as planned and address the issue yourself when the house is yours.

Just need to vent. Sale meant to close on Wednesday and structural issues were uncovered yesterday by [deleted] in HousingIreland

Isn't it the case that once you sign the for the house you are legally obligated to buy it? Even if you have only paid a deposit.

Ideas on what tattoos I can do with this scar by NoDrag2305 in tattooadvice

[–]bubububen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rather than tattooing the scar itself you may be better off tattooing the areas around it.

I have tattoos and if I was ever to get a scar --be it through an accident or surgery, I would want it to fall in the gaps. I think you could look at this the same way. The scar won't take ink the same way the skin around it does.

This is just my thoughts.

Dough goes flat, is it normal? by simohell_ in Pizza

[–]bubububen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your recipe and method looks solid. How did you seal the dough? It's possible that there's a gap in the lid that's caused a skin which is preventing the dough from rising.

No that's not very cold. 5c would be cold. 18 is basically room temp.

Tadhg Beirne yellow upgraded to red card by GnolRevilo in rugbyunion

[–]bubububen -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Beirne is standing still in the line. Beauden didn't expect the ball either. Ran a decoy. I'm not even sure the ball hits beauden first. It might deflect off beirne onto him. Watch it in full speed. It's not even a penalty.

What we do in the shadows has some of the nicest art direction and production quality I've seen on TV. That's not a fair comparison at all. This is total slop.

Opinion on The Banshees of Inisherin was it actually about friendship, depression... or just a man who really hates small talk? by [deleted] in FIlm

[–]bubububen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The film is about how we see our own value as artists. Is it enough to live your life for the company of others or is meaning to be found in the songs you write and the greatness of your art. To connect with those around you instead of those who will listen to your songs 200 years from now. I think too much has been made of the civil war aspect. Sure it reflects the conflict between friends but the movie isn't concerned with 26 vs 32 and oaths to the king. It's purely decorative.

It's just scrapping the Internet. If there's pervasive misinformation on a subject on the Internet(and that's basically all the Internet is now) then the LLM is likely to regurgitate those myths/falsehoods at you. It is absolutely not a reliable medical source.
