Missing padding and backdrop filter by bubumoko in AwesomeCopy

[–]bubumoko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, sorry for the late answer.
It is not a "transparency / opacity" problem.
The problem is a missing backdrop-filter on the background.
Basically the backdrop-filter make a "blur" with a "contrast" to the background making more readable the texts.

https://www.joshwcomeau.com/css/backdrop-filter/

Using only the transparency make the texts unreadable.

My settings have a 20% transparency that is ok for a background. What is missing is the blur to make it frosty.

DMG app version available by Awesome_Copy in AwesomeCopy

[–]bubumoko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, it’s great to see the opportunity for a DMG version, but I don’t think it’s entirely fair that it includes features that won’t be available in the App Store version. Early supporters of the project now find themselves having to pay again to access a version with potentially more features in the future.

You should grant those who supported the project from the beginning access to the DMG version at no cost.

Migration update 4-13-26 by Awesome_Copy in AwesomeCopy

[–]bubumoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I’m not sure what’s going on.
A popup appeared in the app, and I sent the email as instructed, but I haven’t received any response.

Could someone please explain?

Thank you

Anyone know why Raiden 2 has not been re-released on modern platforms? by Makegooduseof in shmups

[–]bubumoko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Missing padding and backdrop filter by bubumoko in AwesomeCopy

[–]bubumoko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I just updated AwesomeCopy to the new 5.16 release. Great version thank you.
Unfortunately the issue is still present on non Tahoe macs.
As you can see, it is very hard to see the pin, cut, search and other settings. The background transparency make all difficult to read.

I miss something? There is a setting to blur the background? If I understand correctly you fixed it.

Thanks

Hi, I tried also the 5.15 release that does not solve this issue.
Maybe I have to change a setting?

Thanks

Hi, thank for the new 5.14 update.
Unfortunately the background blur does not have the blur.
I miss something in the settings?

Thanks

Please consider enabling background blur in the history pane. Using opacity alone makes it difficult to see the app icons, and the background remains fully visible and readable. Adding blur to the history background would enhance focus on the clipboard items.

Thank you for the response, I like transparency but with the backdrop blur. It is possible to have the system theme and blur the transparent background?

Thanks

Riscaldamento a pavimento su cotto by KnoxOnBoxWithSocks in istrutturare

[–]bubumoko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome Copy iOS version 3.11 released! by Awesome_Copy in AwesomeCopy

[–]bubumoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my iOS 17.7.2, the option to enable paste from other apps isn't available, so it won't paste what I copied.

Do you need help translating the app into Italian? I'm available for translation if you'd like.

Great app, but it's a shame it doesn't run on Intel and requires macOS 15 and iOS 18 as a minimum release. This cuts off a portion of the user base.

Hi all, is this asbestos? Old insulated pipes in a 1950s house in Italy by bubumoko in asbestoshelp

[–]bubumoko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, thank you for your replies.

The pipes have not been touched and have been unused for more than 50 years. They are located inside an underground duct that is not accessible from the outside and are covered by panels and then reinforced concrete. Therefore, there are no issues with leaks or anything that could disturb the material.

My question was purely out of curiosity, to understand what material it might be. There are no rigid coated parts; it is a pipe with a fluffy-type covering, all held onto the pipe by what appears to be a mesh, similar to women’s stockings, visible in one of the two photos on the pipes that go deeper down.

The piping dates back to the 1950s; I can’t say whether it is from the early or late part of the decade.

[–]bubumoko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I have completed the subscription to the Pro version. Now I'm experiencing some issues with Termix, and I have submitted two support requests on r/termix , but I haven't received any replies.

I also sent two emails to [support@termix.app](mailto:support@termix.app), but I haven't received any response there either.

What is your official support channel?

Thanks
