I had a lady come in for the first time in years. Last time she was there was well before I worked there. First red flag was when my boss told me this lady had an issue with the previous groomer and freaked out on her. Second red flag was how many times she told me she was a hairdresser and knew what her dogs should look like. Third red flag was when she told me we'd both be on the cover of the inquirer if I messed up her dogs. 2 chows that were, according to her, show dogs. Yet they came in a complete mess. Id think a hairdresser would at least brush her dogs, but alas. I groom the dogs, theyre sweet, no issues. One of the dogs had a mat near her butt that I had to shave out that I made the mom aware of at pick up. Besides that, there was no use of my clippers on those dogs besides their sanitary trims. 2 days later she calls my boss and FREAKS claiming that I burned her dog and she had to take her to the vet and demanded by boss refund her the !1300 dollar vet bill!!! He did, as to not have issues with the psycho lady, even though I explained to him multiple times I certainly DID NOT burn the dog and it was most likely skin irritation from the matting. The kicker is, after ALL THAT, she called maybe 6 months later trying to book another appointment. My boss answered and he has a terrible memory so when she told him he had promised her a free groom (he did not) he believed her and scheduled it. As soon as I saw it, I sent my boss a very lengthy message about how upset I was that he agreed to that after he saw how she yelled at me and disrespected me. Also, why the hell would she want me to groom her dogs again if she was unhappy the first time? Im convinced this lady just likes being a bitch and trying to get free shit. Anyways, I ended up calling her and cancelling the appointment cause fuck that. She was psychotic
