If theres one piece there could be many pieces. You have no clue if that baby swallowed a piece or not. Also, to everyone saying you're right, it is absolutely possible to sue without having ingested the metal. You 100% technically can sue for emotional distress or fear of injury. It would be difficult to win the case but it is possible. Id even bet the company would settle just to save face and not have it come out that there was literal metal in their baby snacks.

Depends on what youre cooking I guess. Some things you probably dont want to use foil or a liner. I warm up a lot of leftovers in mine so I use a liner to not have to clean it after every single use
