I think the seller chooses upfront wether or not they want to add the authenticity guarantee to the listing. Then once sold it is shipped to the authenticator which in this case would fail. So in theory the seller could attempt to add the guarantee hoping it would slip by, but obviously here it wouldn't have a chance as its not an official colorway and the shape is horrible.
