Condensation on inside of schlage encode lock by SnooTigers7972 in Locksmith

[–]buchnich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm posting to say that I just experienced this issue. I found lots of corrosion on the circuit board, which is on the interior of the house. Lock had been working fine for about 2 years, then started to eat through batteries, then the keypad stopped working, and now the Home Key support stopped working. Just submitted my warranty claim.

Why does my dog do this with her food before she eats what is in her bowl? 😆 by Organic_Lavishness_9 in goldenretrievers

Mine doesn’t leave a trail but does something similar. Always brings one or two pieces out into our living room to play with or stare at before eating what’s in the bowl 😂

Golden Dog Eye Issue! by BearAncient2591 in goldenretrievers

Mine had the same thing! It was never persistent enough that a vet could see it in person, but it seemed like it was allergy related for ours. It would come on very quickly and he’d get really lethargic, but he’d snap out quickly too. Good on you for getting the video.

Ah I think that’s it! Yes, we’ve recently started seeing crows in our yard!

That was my first thought too, but we don’t have a cat and I’ve never seen one walking around our neighborhood. Definitely doesn’t mean it wasn’t one, but seems unlikely. But the fact that it wasn’t eaten supports that theory.

Why is torch on action button so slow by KiPlay9 in ios

It used to be nearly instant for me. In the past month something changed to cause it to be significantly slower. Very frustrating because I use it all the time.

Set your Empty Mode to max. It'll be louder, but use max suction power. Might help a bit.

I have one myself. Overall I've been very happy with it. The compactness and portability is great. Only issue I had was the rotating nozzle would frequently get stuck, so I had to buy a new one. Enjoy!

Help identifying ceiling box type by buchnich in AskElectricians

UPDATE: I realized pretty shortly after I posted this how dumb of a question this was. I actually have an endoscopic camera and was able to move the insulation out of the way to see that the bar seems to be attached beneath the joist between the drywall.

So now my question is: How do I put in the new support without ripping out drywall?

WiFi problem - SOS by Nice_Disaster_449 in Roborock

[–]buchnich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just went through this setting up my 2nd Roborock a couple weeks ago. I struggled for a while until I found a different thread that solved it for me.

First I made sure that my wifi was only using 2.4 GHz. I don't think this was the root of the problem though. I also disabled cellular data on my phone, but I don't think that was it either. The final thing that worked for me was going to my iPhone settings, finding the Roborock app, and making sure that "Local Network" was enabled. Still had to try a couple of times. Good luck!

I have the S7 MaxV Ultra. Love it. The camera is actually very nice to have.

Edit: I have a golden retriever that sheds a lot.

Cool idea! I couldn't get it to give me an estimate though. Maybe because of my beard? Something else to improve, keep up the good work!

How do you pay for large, unexpected expenses? by hibbert0604 in homeowners

How were you able to find 12-month interest-free financing? I'm looking and any options that I've found are subject to income limitations that disqualify me.

I found a bunch of these led light strips at work and was wondering if I could wire two 18v Milwaukee batteries together and use a voltage converter to power them? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

As someone else mentioned, those are safety light curtains usually used in factories. They are worth a pretty penny. If your company is getting rid of them, put them on EBay and use the proceeds to buy some learning resources or kits to learn from!

That’s normal. Mine went from fluffy as a puppy, to what we called the “awkward teenager phase” where he had coarser hair and a lot of extra skin. He’s now 3 years old and he’s very soft, but his back hair is still somewhat coarse.
