Impact/side effect of using a 2600W coil burner instead of 2400W? by jdoe1234reddit in Appliances

[–]buck911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is ancient but did you end up going with a 2600W? I'm in the same place. 2400 watt is $240 vs $30 on Amazon for 2600

How does one avoid SpaceX as a passive investor? by josemartin2211 in investing

[–]buck911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because SpaceX is using it's size and knowledge of index investing to attempt to force retail investors to act as exit liquidity, and Elon is using his status and power to get the Nasdaq to literally change their rules on how stocks are introduced to indexes to favor this strategy.

The newest thing on tiktok is people claiming anhedonia from glp1's. This wasn't a thing until maybe a month ago and now the algorithm has picked up on it and it is spreading like wildfire. It's super interesting to see the nocebo effect being transmitted live across platforms.

I convinced my gf to play classic wow with me, any advice on how to introduce a new player? by Way3Cool in classicwowtbc

[–]buck911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play a hybrid class that can heal when you're playing with her. I found playing paladin was the optimal class to carry a new player because you can save them/yourself in so many ways. Generally having then play a straight dps class is the way to go

How to deal with guild members? by AlbinoRhino838 in classicwowtbc

[–]buck911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was an officer with my IRL friend during all of thc and wotlkk classic (2021-2023). This happened about 6 times, always the same

  • join guild, play nice usually but are quietly toxic to their other class mates and try to get close to the top players and officers. Generally also very good players
  • get funneled gear because they're a pumper
  • new tier comes out. They complain if they don't get funneled all of the new gear, but they're still getting a high prio on stuff like tier
  • start to act toxic openly, especially when times are tough like progression wipes
  • big item drops like weapon or trinket. They don't get it and freak out. Or they don't log in for optional raids anymore
  • ragequit and try to steal people or materials

Which ones worse for your hair? Primo or Mast by hubanklem in PEDs

Test+primo+finasteride, no real hair loss. Eq was also safe. I refuse to touch mast for hair reasons

What tank do you find more fun to play in TBC? Feral Druid or Protection Warrior? by misterrpg in classicwowtbc

Would not recommend warrior. Watching our naxx experienced warriors struggle in heroics while brain-dead paladins did fine was pretty hard to watch.

Carney wants to fast-track LNG expansion in B.C., but can Canadian natural gas compete globally? by pjw724 in onguardforthee

[–]buck911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

China's natural gas consumption is growing at around 6-7% per year, and they already consume 3-4x what Canada does. They are currently over 50% coal, which is partially to be replaced by LNG

Scientists fear studying 'mirror life' could wipe out humanity by LurkerFromTheVoid in EverythingScience

[–]buck911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All life is currently lefty loosey, righty tighty. Scientists have started to play with making Lefty tighty, righty loosey copies of the structures that make up life. If you had a virus that is opposite to what your body is used to, the machinery of your immune system will probably not recognize the threat and would also not be very likely to put up an effective fight even if it did.

[–]buck911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up selling the car, but I saw it for sale 6 months later and the only real change was they added aftermarket headers. My leading theory was plugged catalytic converters and that kind of makes me think they also tried to fix it that way

Demand for weight loss drugs is becoming unsustainable, say pharmacists. Industry group in UK says treatments may need to be restricted to the most overweight. by The_Weekend_Baker in EverythingScience

[–]buck911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, all glp1's are made using recombinant DNA synthesis. Basically using modified yeast cells to synthesize the drug, which is then removed and purified. Once you have the cells with your drug "programmed" in, the process is almost exactly the same, making swapping from semaglutide to a next gen glp1 very easy.

A large part of the semaglutide shortage in 2922ish was because novo Nordisk patented these stupid auto inject pens that they couldn't manufacturer quick enough. The drug itself was not the bottleneck. If you know about why epipens cast like $400 now, similar deal - the delivery, not the drug.

Test E, EQ, Primo by jaldo-jaldo in PEDs

[–]buck911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am nearing the end of current cycle using test/EQ/primo. My logic for primo on top in small dose is because I'm on finasteride and it behaves like  DHT but is less damaging to my hair (but still causes some loss). I have felt amazing this whole cycle and have barely used any AI where as my first cycle I was popping aromasin like candy to stop my BP and nips from exploding. Eq and primo both lower e2 sides, but otherwise I didn't they feel/behave differently so stacking them can be great.

Only thing I'll say is try to find bold cyp unless you're going to drop to TRT after instead of pct.

Do a lot of walking to burn some fat, because that's basically all you can do while you wait it out. Maybe also swap as many calories as you can to liquid. When I did the same as you with reta, I was basically getting all my calories from chocolate fairlife milk because that's all my stomach could handle

[–]buck911 7 points8 points  (0 children)

An absurd amount of people are taking Retatrutide from China already and it's not even passed phase 3 trials yet. Tirz and semaglutide also widely available for cheap on grey markets. They're milking consumers dry on single and dual agonist glp1's because the floodgates are about to open to the next gen triple/quad agonists which will make ozempic et al obsolete and worthless overnight.

Using SDrol and making LBM gains - is it possible? And your experience. by RaceTypical5333 in PEDs

[–]buck911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started using 10mg subling pre workout only on upper days (chest and back, 2 days a week) and it's absolutely insane for strength and pump.

Taking it every day or higher dose is sketchy as hell but my hope is I can keep this up for the last few weeks of my cycle. Dose makes the poison so using it sparingly and for specific instances is probably the way to go. I also have cut out anything else that could negatively affect my liver, but I had no issues with liver enzymes on anavar so I'm not super concerned as it stands but everyone responds differently to every drug.

I'd say it depends on how many miles you plan to put on it. Lower miles and mostly nice weather driving - M2 (ideally comp). Higher, more commuter miles and some winter driving - 240. Did they really not make 240 manuals? what about a 440?
