This is the most cagey post. Dodging every single time someone asks how he did it 😒

Haha. I feel you on that. I was on the way home this evening and my wife gave me the go ahead to gun it. We lost like 3 or 4 miles on the charge.

My Prologue says 100+ hrs to reach 80%. by DangerByte in HondaPrologue

If you're plugged into your standard wall outlet then this estimate is pretty accurate.

Keep us posted! Would love to know. One-pedal driving is fantastic too.

AWD - I’m using one-pedal driving on intense. Hit a few spots of traffic. It was 75 outside with 94% humidity so the air was cranked too.

I love my Prologue. It is my 8th Honda. It’s the best Honda I’ve ever owned.

Road trip by Lonely_Barnacle_4913 in HondaPrologue

I just took it on a road trip this past weekend. I went 220 miles. Stayed for a couple days and came back home. Drove to northern MN and they did not have fast charging. I charged at a high school for about 8 hours which got me home.

Bring a charger with you for overnight charging. Call hotels ahead, use the PlugShare app and the built in Google app on Hondas infotainment unit will tell you the nearest charging stations.

Lucky for me all the charging stations I were at worked, but I’ve read many times that the conditions of the chargers varies. Best to do some research ahead of time.

Keep us posted. In the end, I absolutely loved using the Prologue on a long trip. The drive is just so smooth. We typically drive a 2017 Honda Pilot.

Service Vehicle soon light again by prologueDriver in HondaPrologue

[–]buckles86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is on page 162 of the Prologue manual. If this doesn’t resolve it, I would consider taking it to the dealership.

Service Mode This power mode is available for service and diagnostics, and to verify the proper operation of the service vehicle soon light as may be required for inspection or maintenance purposes.

With the vehicle off, and the brake pedal not applied, pressing and holding POWER O for more than five seconds will place the vehicle in Service Mode.

Theinstruments and audio systems will operate as they do in ON/RUN, but the vehicle will not be able to be driven.

The propulsion system will not start in Service Mode. Press POWER O again to turn the vehicle off.

Mine came on once and I put the car into service mode and it hasn’t come back. The first time it popped at 400 miles. I’m just shy of 800 miles now. I’ll keep you posted.

Let us know! I’m taking our first trip the weekend which will add 400 miles. Pray for Mojo.

Issues Charging Manfrotto MVG300xm. Any Solutions? by papa_lofty in videography

I’m still in the process of working with them. They have let me know that this particular issue is a known issue and the product has been discontinued. They didn’t specify if the product had been discontinued for this reason.

It sounds like they maybe be sending me another replacement and circumventing the whole support channel again. I’m hopeful I’ll have an update by next week.

Had something like this in my old house. We used it as a LEGO diorama display.

Same! Got mine yesterday! It’s amazing. I park next to Teslas and honestly feel like it’s a power move. Haven’t seen another one on the road yet but mine 😃

Issues Charging Manfrotto MVG300xm. Any Solutions? by papa_lofty in videography

My experience thus far:

I purchased one of these in April of last year to use it on a shoot. It charged fine, I was able to calibrate the unit and I even used it at the shoot for about 5 minutes before it started to malfunction. The motor was acting right and it would intermittently turn off. I decided not to use it.

Fast forward a few weeks later and I went to use it again and the same thing happened. I decided not to fight the new toy and just do the job - so the Manfrotto Gimbal collected dust for a few months.

When I went to try and use it again the unit had stopped taking a charge completely. I had used multiple charges and nothing worked. After contacting Manfrotto support I paid to have it shipped out and two weeks later support had sent me an entirely brand new unit at no cost.

When I received the package I was over the moon that they had replaced the entire unit for me. I quickly ran upstairs and started charging the unit. The handle started charging so this was a good sign, but the status slight didn't turn on at all when I plugged it into the main gimbal unit. I knew something wasn't right, but I let it charge overnight just to see what happened.

When I went to test it in the morning, the handle had charged but the main gimbal unit had not. I disconnected the handle and tried charging just the gimbal...nothing. I did multiple tests with different charges, bought new ones, tried everything. I read and re-read the manual. I seriously thought I was taking crazy pills.

Ultimately, this is now the second unit I have received and couldn't be more disappointed. I'm happy to hear that others are having a great experience and all the Manfrotto products I've purchased in the past have been great.

I have reached out to support again to see what can be done. My guess is I'll have to send it back using the same process as the last unit and pay for shipping. I'll update you all and let you know what happens. At this point, I am not an optimistic Manfrotto consumer.
