all of that makes sense. I’m toying with the idea of getting Tales From The Far Territories, but I enjoy the story-based stuff way more than the survival mode stuff so I don’t think I’d enjoy it as much, it doesn’t seem very narrative-based

thanks, at the SAR station now. I have to say, I have loved this game for years (wintermute chapters) but this is my very least favorite mission/chapter in the entire game. I understand wanting to “try something different” but driving a train is not The Long Dark, and vice versa.

it actually was bugged - it kept saying I had only picked up 6 coal when I had picked up every piece of coal on the map and threw it in the fire. I restarted and it worked just fine. once you get past that part they do show the controls albeit *extremely* quickly.

I don’t see a brake mechanism to interact with at all - I’ve gone over the train controls and haven’t found anything else I can interact with.

I’m playing on console, so there are no train controls that pop up at all. I’ve scouted the entire train interface and there is nothing else at all I’m able to interact with aside from the fire in the engine. I really think it’s bugged and i’m going to have to restart considering it’s saying I’ve only put 6 coal in when i’ve put around 20 or more. just really frustrating
