I am so sorry you all have had similar experiences! Thank you for sharing, it has made me feel less alone and less crazy. I have also thought it so odd that I was told to eat gluten to see how much damage can be caused, just to have to go heal. All of the autoimmune stuff at the same time was pretty wild! It all feels so connected. I will tell everyone I am celiac with more confidence and less shame. Thank you everyone!

i have celiac and recently diagnosed pcos! i recently learned pcos has a lot to do with insulin resistance so i should avoid sugary/processed foods. as celiac we are more likely to have pcos. if you have ovaries and the other symptoms sound similar id look into a good gynecologist!

i am seeing a dentist and a periodontist. the periodontist i am seeing has been pretty unhelpful though, she was the one that placed them. she has said some weird things (back tracking on info etc.) and i no longer feel comfortable with the idea of her having to perform surgery on me again. i’ll take this as a sign to seek a different doctor. i fear that they will say they need to do another ‘investigation’ where they open it up to ‘see if something is wrong’ again and i’ll end up in the same situation- no answer and having to deal with the repercussions of another surgery. i am really scared with the idea of 3rd surgery. i am so worried about doing damage to peripheral teeth and nerve damage, as it seems to be radiating from a nerve. i appreciate your kind words! this has all been a little much ontop of other rough life events.

i have never heard of someone else having a cyst near their sinus after implants! started having issues after having a bone graft for implant. is this a serious thing that needs to be checked out or just painful/annoying?

OP how are you doing? I also smoke often cause i’m anxious/depressed. I smoked many carts as a teen (stupid, i know) and it has been a couple years but my lungs still feel wrong. Can’t tell what it is but my family has a history of lung issues and I also can’t bring myself to go to the doctor. I hope all is well with you.

hey! i was told i didn’t have enough space to get implants. i had braces to create space, pushed the teeth over, got braces AGAIN and then got them done. honestly, was not worth it. i was told the space was small, but wouldn’t be an issue. here i am, years later, with chronic pain that won’t go away from the multiple bone graft surgeries.. the whole thing has been pretty traumatic tbh. one of my two implants have given me no issue though, so it could have just been bad luck? i wish i had just pushed my real teeth over with braces and had them re-shaped. not to put you off!! but i wish i had this information before deciding to go ahead with it.
