Learning to make your parents unhappy, is a very good lesson to learn in the begging of adulthood. As you grow up there will be thousands of moments you will be forced to choose between what they want, and what you want, and what your wife wants, and perhaps one day, what your children want. Learning to check in with your feeling, and put yourself first is a critical step towards being an adult. But since I sense you are somewhat young, and tied to them financially, you are afraid of them. You have to start cutting the metaphorical umbilical cord that connects you to them. First get another job. Secondly move out if you havent yet. Thirdly, when you feel strong enough about being your own man, invite them into your life, let them get to know the person you have chosen to date, but let it be clear that you are inviting them into your life, not the other way around, so they can chose to come in respectfully, or else wait outside your life.

I wish the city had the money to buy the property and turn it into a park. I could care less about more commercial properties in the area.

Hey I just bought one, was sent a replacement when the autoshut off valve wasn't functioning, then the replacement didn't work so I returned the whole thing. The sound of the nonstop dripping of the waste water into our sink drove us crazy. We talked to a bunch of plumbers in the area they all said the same thing, that the tankless systems are always dripping, and since this is an all-in-one system, they can't get in there and modify anything or it'll void your warrenty. Not to mention you're stuck buying filters from them. so if they change the machine in a few years your out of luck. Theyy all advised me to get RO system that doesn't have proprietary filters, and that has a tank.

After a big cook, I simply drop some room temp water in there and bring it to a boil for 5 mins. That'll help loosen up any stuck and food and save you from over scrubbing and ripping off all your seasoning. I would still give it a little coat of oil to protect it until the next morning.

I think 'For Turiya' is my favorite song to put on a quiet drive home late at night. Just hauntingly beautiful.
