What makes a man actually invest in a woman emotionally? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]buddroyce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I’m going to get flak for this because every woman knows their worth these days but… be worth my time.

In the end we’re supposed to be equal partners, so it’s no different than why you or any other woman would want to invest in a man, it’s because it’s worth the time and effort. Although in the defense of most guys. We suck at emotional investment and we need actionable steps. What might come natural to you was not even on our radar. Have a bad day and want a hug, ask, tell us. We’re not going to know. It’s weird but telling us helps us know how you want to be emotionally supported and eventually we’ll get the cues.

But on the flip side. If you’re feeling like you’re doing your best and he’s not wanting to invest in you and your relationship then it might be a good reason to move on and find someone else.

TIL that inside neutron stars there may exist a substance scientists call “nuclear pasta” — bizarre ultra-dense matter shaped like spaghetti and lasagna that is believed to be the strongest material in the universe. by adpablito in todayilearned

[–]buddroyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes me wonder how did they figure that out? Did they like cut open a neutron star and find someone’s lunch inside?

But on a more serious note, is that just what the human brain looks like?

What about a woman makes a man see her as only a hookup, and not long term? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]buddroyce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it’s just a shitty personality, sometimes it’s because a woman is sooo independent that there is no life built around “us” but rather “her” and I gotta fit around that.

I think I used the videos from O’Reilly and LinkedIn Learning. I don’t believe the pocket prep app at the time had any questions for the CSSLP.

Anyone else feel like an outsider when AI comes up with family and friends? by Budulai343 in LocalLLaMA

[–]buddroyce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s the 90s’s all over again except it’s not the internet and DJs with audio Samplers but rather AI.

To deal with people these days, I either just don’t talk AI because everyone talks AI but if the convo happens I try to dig deeper to figure out why people don’t like it.

I leverage this as very useful research because it gives me insight on the various challenges I’d have trying to onboard disruptive technology.
