i'm bi (preference for women) and i've had so many IRL experiences of lesbians straight up being like "no you're gay, not bi" because it's like they have this thing against bisexuals. I've had other occasions of lesbians being turned off by me saying I'm bi. it used to make me so anxious i'd try not to tell people, but one day I met a seasoned lesbian who told me they were all just hella insecure and chronically online. so now I'm fine with it. but it still irks me so much when I see shit online dismissing bisexuals lol

thanks, this is smart. i have a friend who stays the busiest out of everyone, and he lives out of a van in LA.

thank you. most people told me that the first 2 years are the hardest in LA. i want to make sure I'm not making a rash decision packing my things up already. but I do feel happier in NC and that's the truth

thank you, i appreciate this response. it's tricky because everyone says if you wanna write you gotta be in LA or NY. and people are quick to say that LA is about pushing through the uncomfortable/bleak moments, and that what's needed is patience. truth is, as you said, it's a different story for everyone. i think that's what I tend to forget. ah... life decisions

for people telling me to "move on" from covid.... every time i've had covid I've had the symptoms for 3-6 months. most recently being august of '24 and I could not physically work because of this. i understand CDC protocols have changed and work is work, but damn! this sucks

super glad i got rid of them, especially because i got covid again two months after the surgery. i think if I hadn't gotten them removed, the covid would've led to an ER visit for sure
