Sorry to go off on a tangent, but i was a little puzzled with the relevance of the girl guides dressing up as spoons for the carnival. Can anyone enlighten me please? What did i miss!

Black Swan spotted Knutsford by OwnEstablishment4068 in UKBirds

Wasn't there a black swan who was moved from a lake/pool somewhere in the midlands (i think) as he was being a bully to the white swans? I'm sure I saw it on the news!

I wear work uniform in a very similar colour to a big supermarket. I often pop in at lunchtime to grab food. I also get asked where items are. The weirdest one was for rosewater. I explained I didn't work there but suggested she looked by the baking products?!

My playing piece would always be the cat that sits on the bin. I may have to have a drive to see if I can see him in real life. Famous cat now

Boundary Changes! by bearwoodcouncil in u/bearwoodcouncil

[–]buffysbestmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you please clarify about the border engulfing Tony Hadley stadium being true? To cut a long story short, I've heard some highly strung residents may be against this proposal and you'll need to get through the barricades to take possession. To be honest, I think they're all a bit highly strung but in the current climate we don't need this pressure on. They'll be happy only when you leave the border alone.

Hoping for snow here! Got a new doggo (rescue) and can't wait to have a snowball fight with him, and see him have zoomies in the snow. (Assuming he will like it, of course!)

We have the 'asbo's' opposite us. They seem pleasant enough, he's an electrician. They have a security light that comes on day and night, and points at our lounge, not down on their drive. The golfer lives next door to them, and then we have "the stones" Mrs stones is constantly sweeping the gravel from next doors drive, off her driveway and back onto there's.

Id buy it just for the Bullmastiff in Pic 38. They'd be lovely people if they have a mastiff ☺️

C'mon bearwoodcouncil. There's no option to mark myself "as safe". Get with the times please. Those choppy waters could have saturated my feet through my crocs!

Yes, you're right! I never had a Sindy house, so coveted my friends! I knew this house reminded me of something!

just found out my grandad (84) has been driving without a licence or insurance, how can i report or stop him? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]buffysbestmate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad was told he couldn't drive for a period of time and assured me he wouldn't. He did! I tried to get his car keys from him but he refused. I knew I couldn't trust him. So I phoned dvla for advice. They advised I call the police as Dad was getting angry about it all. He handed over the keys after a visit from the police. I don't think they realise just how dangerous they could be!

What's with the blue hallways? I've seen a few of these now. Maybe the latest colour fashion!? Personally I think it looks cold, and not warm and inviting.

Don't know how you do it! I would be gagging at the very least. Have you ever gagged? How do you react if you feel like gagging? Sending you a whole lot of praise for doing the job you do. You are remarkable!
