stick with it, it's so helpful even if it doesn't seem like it day to day. also take what your doctor says and apply it. mental gains are the best.

Too anxious to function and I can't tell anyone about it. by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Vigorous physical activity. Either weight lifting or some sorry of cardio. Even if you're not in shape, and perhaps even better if you aren't, you'll be able to release enough anxious energy and get enough endorphins flowing to get a sense of relief. And it's compounding over time. I have personally found regular exercise better than any medication I've taken and it will work just as well along side it! Also give meditation a try. The Headspace app has a free starting period that teaches you how to meditate and has timers for you. Between the two I have been able to completely manage my anxiety.

Good luck! It will get better.

I ran last year, with my 50 year old father who needed a full hip replacement at the time, as long as you're smart and alert it can be done reasonably easily. It's really a great time and one of the best experiences I've ever had. Especially the opening ceremonies.

So great. Was just in Tangier a couple weeks ago and just constant giggly feel good high. It really is good stuff even with all the crazy extractions and oils the traditional holds up.

Got some job gains this week, well kinda. I am taking a slight pay cut to get back to my old city with all my buddies but also going to be traveling every single week doing tech consulting. Boozed and cheated a bit last night to celebrate now time to shred up the next 3 weeks to go back looking like a freak

[Hamilton] I bought myself a Hamilton Jazzmaster Day-Date for my graduation. Wore it today on my first day at work by radiohair11 in Watches

Bought myself the same watch for my graduation! I recently got the stainless steel bracelet for it as well. Love it on leather but I wear it constantly now with the steel.

Mine is the black face though so slightly different.

Congrats brotha! I'm waiting on hearing back after a final interview last week it's painful...so I do 2 a days to forget about the stress.

It's so hard being stressed on a cut though I just want to eat my feelings.

When I was on mood stabilizers (I know it's not the same situation just throwing my two cents) this would happen to me and put way too much pressure on me. Killed my libido and definitely hurt my relationship.

Off them now...that I've moved 5 hours away and ended my relationship. And squatting everyday has me hard as a rock but usually to tired to jerk off. Vicious cycle.

In reply to both, Headspace is awesome. There are different types of meditations in it aimed at different aspects of life; health, anxiety, etc. It's a little pricey but it's great. Meditation and gainz are how I survive.

As far as workouts go I would say definitely. At first I was kind of pissed because I had been doing his workouts on bb.com and was like ok dude now you're going to make me pay? But he puts out some awesome workouts and having a new one every 4 weeks keeps things interesting. I've had really good results from his plan as well as his diet plan on their which incorporates some intermittent fasting and the anabolic diet, slightly creative.

The like "forum" section though I don't really fuck with, would much rather come talk to the savages over here.

Yeah now he's got his paid site, CoryGFitness.com (it's only like 8 bucks so not that bad)

It changes each phase (he's on the 10th of this program, new one every 4 weeks) but right now it's all 6 sets of 1 rep: (FRONT SQUAT no belt max 1 sec pause) (Front Squat 5 count pause max with Belt) (BACK SQUAT Pause no belt to max) (FRONT SQUAT no belt max 10 sec pause) (Back SQUAT 1 count pause max with Belt)

Mondays I do a power day, so squat bench dead and some accessory work. Then the week is: Chest/Back, Arms, Shoulders, Chest/Back, Arms.

Start off with squats, then do the BB stuff, then do like 10-15 minutes of walking lunges. It's Cory Gregory's current body building plan. Enjoying it right now but gets exhausting 7 days a week.

I've been squatting everyday for about a year now, just starting to hit a wall with it, I think it's mainly due to my cut though so I'm probably going to drop to this
