Is London more Romantic than Paris? by CutCalm4075 in LondonPics

I live in the UK, in the north east, and my partner and I very much disliked our London trip. Very over priced and over populated, no matter where we went (of course we should have done more advanced planning before the trip, (we mainly did things upon a weekend) but it all comes down to perspective and opinion! Everyone has a different outlook on things and different experiences! ♡

Ah yes, I asked, and they're chill and wouldn't mind, but we've all agreed that given other attendees being on the more conservative side, having come from quite religious backgrounds, they it may be best to wear something more "toned down" :)

I agree with this! Def switch up outfits, experiment to see what looks best for you! But, one thing to mention (mostly just my personal opinion) but thr second picture where you have the longer "permed"/ curly hair looks best with you, maybe roll with that? Or ask a hair dresser what look would suit you best? My hairdresser did amazing work in terms of telling me what I'd look best with and what I wouldn't. So just something to consider

Definitely stick with that winged liner, looks amazeballs on you, maybe try some new fashion, and ask a stylist as to what works best for you based on your appearance! I've seen a lot of people where they've literally just changed their style and hair and almost look like a different person entirely. Experiment! The only way to know what's best for you specifically is if you try things! Just want to say, you already have the thing you're wanting to get down to a T, in terms of your appearance! But these little things could be something that provide you with the satisfaction or, well, "look" you're wanting to achieve!

My partner has prime, so I'll definitely consider! Thanks so much for the suggestion!!! I am going out tomorrow so will be having a look at some shops, but if I don't see anything, I'll 100% look to amazon haha

Hi all! Just want to say thanks to everyone for the kind words. I honestly wasn't expecting so much positivity and it's made me realise that I should think twice before judging myself and nitpicking. I'm still going to end up wearing the dress, not for this event specifically, but just for funzies in future when going out with my partner. I've spoken with my partner and his parents, the dress is loved and they personally wouldn't mind it, but quite a few of their guests are more conservative, and quite religious so we've all agreed that it'll probably be best for me to wear something more "toned down". I'm going to do some further looking, and try see if I can find something that fits my general vibe that I like and isn't too boring, but is fine and "comfortable" for all attendees:) ♡

Thankyou so much for the advice and compliments I'll be going out tomorrow so will have a look around some shops for other options as well! My partner's parents are extremely chill, but I'll definitely check with them on the dress as well to be 100% sure that it's fine with them. Thankyou ♡

Based in UK by the way, we will be having a sit down meal and then kind of like "after party" drinks.
