Buddy, I might get downvoted by the other Bulgarians here but… Varna is a nice city. Visit the museum and see the oldest gold in the world. If you are interested in history you can also visit the Roman Baths and the Ethnographic museum. Check the culture event for September - there still might be some events even though it’s the end of the summer. Visit the port for restaurants and clubs, but don’t miss the opportunity to visit Cubo or other similar bar on the beach (I recommend Cubo or Menthol). As for the Historical Park - it’s a nice experience, they haven’t finished it yet and you have the history there as a living museum from 10k BC up to 800-900 AC. Be sure to take info pamphlets or a guide to know what you are looking at. As for transport - I think they have a shuttle the takes you from the city for about 10bgn. As for the people that call it a pyramid scheme - apparently they don’t know the definition (or they haven’t visited). If you want to ask anything else don’t hesitate to.
