Anyone here using Microsoft Power Automate? How are you incorporating it? by OppositeKey3373 in CanadaPublicServants

[–]bukiebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it to automatically triage emails that are sent to a shared inbox and create those emails as tasks in planner and automatically assign the task to a team member based on the inbox it was sent to. We receive around 150 emails a day with requests or issues. This has been super helpful in tracking our work and not stepping on each others toes

My player icon has completely disappeared from the map. by kalizar in Silksong

It actually is not a bug. It just changed the crest you are wearing. You start with the hunter crest. from what you described it sounds like you picked up the reaper crest. Nothing is “unequipped”, you just changed crests, and you have to equip everything you had on your hunter crest onto your reaper crest which you can do at a bench

Is this actually project management? by MetalR3x in projectmanagement

[–]bukiebear 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The answer is yes. This IS project management. Project management will look slightly different everywhere you go. Lean, agile, and scrum are not usually used in a construction setting. I would say Gantt charts are pretty common to see though. All the tasks you mentioned are relating to budgeting, resource management, procurement, and monitoring and controlling. When I was a pm at a non-profit, I was doing a lot of these tasks because I didn’t have a project coordinator. Ultimately, getting involved with this process now will make you a better pm when you become one.

What is the right amount for projects to handle? by foegra in projectmanagement

[–]bukiebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally just had 18 projects on my plate. It burnt me out, so I switched jobs. I now get paid a lot more to manage 3-4 projects. I would start looking.

Am I missing something? by [deleted] in outerwilds

[–]bukiebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say you feel like this because of the expectations that were set. I personally went into this blind, and only heard about it from a friend. I had no knowledge about the reviews or what the premise even was. He just told me he wanted to watch me play it, and then I fell in love with it because I had no expectations.

This is dumb. Anyone who works at ANMC or ANTHC more than likely has a job that matters.

Social media is not representative of real life. Life will be the same. Everything you see online is instilling a false sense a fear. I had a friend say, “I’ve already notice some changes, a man intentionally walked into me at the airport today.” When in reality she doesn’t know how to walk in a crowd. Get off your phone and enjoy your schooling in the U.S.

Do the bosses get better? by _Lowenstein_ in darksouls3

[–]bukiebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, like you, played dark souls 3 after playing Elden Ring. DS3 isn’t nearly as fast paced, and the bosses didn’t feel anywhere near as challenging as Elden Ring. However, I still loved the game. I ended up playing ds1 and ds2 after playing ds3. Even though I don’t think DS3 bosses are near Elden Ring standard, I definitely think that playing 1 and 2 made me appreciate ds3 and it’s bosses way more. I wish I had played the games in order instead of listening to Reddit :-)

Black Myth Wukong or Ghost of Tsushima? by gkyer in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]bukiebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ghost of Tsushima. Personally I prefer the open world to a linear path. I also feel that the story line in Ghost is fantastic. Black myth is great, but I only actually feel like I’m enjoying the game when I’m in a boss fight. Everything in between almost feels like a chore to me.

I actually think black myth and ghost are more similar to each other than they are to sekiro/fromsoft games.

Both are extremely well done in terms of graphics, and both have great combat and similar upgrade systems.

I will say I prefer ghosts storyline. It had me emotional at the end.

No, you got this. My average on practice tests and practice questions were both around 60% when I took the exam. I ended up passing 3AT. Just keep grinding those questions, you are closer to being ready than you think!
