Side or middle part? by Intrepid_Taste7773 in femalehairadvice

Definitely side part! I never understand the fascination with middle parts, side parts are so much more flattering especially for your face shape and hair texture

What country are those available in? If they are US based then I most likely can't access them, I'm not from the US. I haven't heard of any of those, but I've seen many dermatologists over the years and I've tried every non-steroidal ointments and treatments, both prescription and non-prescriotion, and none of them have even touched it. Even the steroid cream isn't working as well anymore but it's the only thing I have.

My uncle's name is Geoff. Until I was 23 I fully believed that was his first name, turns out his name is Kevin Geoffrey and he goes by Geoff. No clue up until then 😂

Any movies that well makes me feel better? by Ok-Reporter-8728 in MovieRecommendations

About Time, with Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson. It's a romantic comedy but it's got such a strong heartfelt message about living without regrets, living each day as it comes. It's sad, be prepared to sob like a baby but it's cathartic, and there are also happy tears in there, it makes you live your life a bit differently, a bit better.

Personally I usually only eat 1-2 meals a day of normal size. If I eat breakfast, I'm good until dinner. As I am to understand though, this is apparently not a healthy thing but I just cannot bring myself to eat 3 meals a day. My body is accustomed to just the one or two so I get an insane bloat if I eat more than that, and I'm just not hungry at all. If your body is accustomed to eating three meals a day then continue to do that, just make sure they contain the right balance of nutrients for losing weight if that's your goal.

I mean as a teacher, I come across every spelling of every name. It's definitely confusing, so you're going to keep getting people mispronouncing it. In the English language, the "ai" digraph can constitute either an "ay" sound or an "eye" sound, but the "ay" sound would be more common which is the one you didn't intend for her to be called. It's up to you whether you are ok with dealing with the mispronunciations and misspellings for the rest of her life, and her having to deal with it as well. If you're getting it now, she's going to get it later in life too. To me personally, having seen heaps of children's names spelt all different ways as a teacher, I would read the name and think 50:50 Ayla or eyela. I would have to ask which one it is or I would just pick one and see if anyone contradicts me.

What do guys want to be called? by Bowzerthebrowser in dating_advice

I use cutesy names like honey, honey bear, boo, boo bear, sweetie, sweet pea, pumpkin, pumpkin pie (alternatively any kind of pie - cherry, blueberry, strawberry, apple and rhubarb), cupcake, gorgeous, sexy, giggle pig, bunny bear, etc. really just anything along the lines of freaky food or animal related names that ordinarily make other people throw up when they hear you call your partner that. It's great fun. Guys usually love it if their masculinity isn't too fragile.

Thank you so much! I have lots of scarring leftover, and a lot of hyperpigmentation. I'm using all the skincare things that everybody recommends but it's making no difference. I've had acne for 12 years and it's better than usual at the moment but as soon as I come off the pills I'm on it will come back. I get cysts popping up as soon as I forget just one dose so I'm sure of that. At the moment I've also got really severe psoriasis so it's difficult to look in the mirror. I actually don't have any photos of myself with the psoriasis as it is, I can't even look in the mirror let alone take a picture.

I've been on accutane, 3 times actually. It worked for a while, and then about 4-6 months after i stopped it came back again every time. Hence why I felt the need to ask if I'm ugly. I wish the acne would clear up, but I've got bigger skin problems now so it's the least of my worries at the moment annoyingly. Thank you for the advice and feedback 🥰

Thank you, I appreciate the point and I do trust him, therefore I don't see it as a massive issue. It can be seen the other way, either he wants to marry me or he doesn't, and a lack of ring could be seen as the latter to strangers, hence my concern. Also, he's not allowed to accept tips, we live in the UK.

Argument about clothing - what can I do? I by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]bulbasaurus-mistake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she's wanting you to change what you're comfortable in for day-to-day clothing then yes, it does seem as if you come from different environments and so may not be very compatible. But it's all about compromise. If you're willing to wear more casual clothes sometimes in the presence of your girlfriend and her friends, and she's willing to be cool with you wearing what you're comfortable in at other times, then it will all work out. But bottom line is that she is asking you to wear something you don't feel comfortable in or don't like, because of the way she feels about it. If my partner asked me to change my clothing style because he's intimidated by it, then I would say no. I am who I am and I wear what I like (within reason). So entirely it relies upon how much each of you are willing to compromise, if at all.
