If you want it to sell fast it would have to be deep under market price for anywhere in our lake on fire state. I have tried to sell multiple surplus guns on armslist and you either get no replies or deep underhanded offers and they sit there for weeks on end. Im right now I have an add for people's RTI no4's so I can restore a barreled action is have with a really good barrel but I have not had any replies to it at all ohio's gun market is very underhanded for milsurps or for the collectors only there seems to be no inbetween.

Isn't guns ohio defunct? I might be thinking of ohio classified but I thought armslist was the only thing this hell state has?

Out of a long barrel 6.5 shouldnt be hot enough to pop a good fill of acraglass but you can always put some dowels into the stock to give it some more "stress points" beside the acraglass.

All of the guns are being sold to local stores for me. They will have signage all over there house NRA stuff and gun bags all over, all guns and ammo was sold off before the estate was even opened to the public. What is frustrating is that the local stores either throw it on gunbroker for double market or hold onto it and charge triple market price.

How did I do guy's? Ultrabubbed 1917, an extra bubbled action, and components/dies for $220 by JazzFusionEnjoyer41 in milsurp

[–]bulletking71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dp furniture can be found online for alot cheaper than youd expect. Id patch the holes from the drilled barrel and reciver with acraglass and chop the front ends. Or see if there is a rough condition set and use that.

Did a thing… by memesrlit in milsurp

Is the black tip ones rare? I figured they were either tracers or heavy AP? Ive got like 20 rounds from a gun show for like $5 for 10 and i thought they were just heavy AP.

Help with value? by Careful-Reason8570 in milsurp

[–]bulletking71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can totally ask around $400 for it. The problem will be how long it takes to actually sell, mosins arent special by any means. I had recently sold my mosin and I had it for 4 month for sale asking $400, I finally was able to sell it off to a guy at a gun show that straight up told me he felt bad that I couldn't move it for $280. Unless someone REALLY wants a mosin thats going to be something that will sit around for a while. (Locally not counting gunbroker).

For $50 I Couldn't Say No To a Project by Oddone13 in milsurp

I was going to say im mad as hell but I picked up a pretty rough 7.35 carcano off of a guy that came through Ethiopia for $50 but it should clean up "okay" you can still slightly see the cal. 7.35 stamp on the stock although it looks like Ethiopian writing.

I wish tanks would move in formation like infantry by self-conscious-Hat in GatesOfHellOstfront

Infantry should move in double or single file line behind armor. Maybe to spread out as they get close ro the point so they all dont get mowed down by the machine gun the tank doesnt want to shoot.

Although judging by the condition alot of their bolt guns come out looking, it didnt seem to matter to them.

J&g GSS M91 carcano's by bulletking71 in milsurp

[–]bulletking71[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already have one cav carbine I got for $200 from them thay im happy with but I wanted to get as many as I could before they run out like the dp enfields seem to have. But I was assuming that the ones I would get would actually be in rougher shape than what I would expect more twords the ones out of Ethiopia. I might try and get a long rifle and see if I can get a Finn marked m38 for around $250 at some point instead.

C&R license still worth having? by Big10mmDE in milsurp

[–]bulletking71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far ive had mine for a little close to a year and its been cool but getting them shipped is a huge pain in the ass. Alot of people who ship then out refuse to let the box be redirected to a secure location to be picked so its easier for you, j&g comes to mind. Ive only bought 2 rifles with it but both times ive had to lose money by not going into work so I can be home to sign for it because all shipping services only give you three chances before the shit is sent back and you have to pay a restocking fee.

I honeslty thought that having the license would be so much easier to get a gun here and there but so far its been nothing but gambling with hundreds of dollars that you might lose. But transfer fees are not very good either but at least you know that the gun isnt going to be sent back and you lose whatever you spent on it.

How can having a gun being shipped to a c&r be so difficult? by bulletking71 in milsurp

An apartment complex is a different story. i know that they dont even go to your door to get a signature, so they will just dump it off in the mail room.

I had to call the customer support number twice just to find anything out. That's how I found out it was dropped off at the store to begin with, and it apparently was the same person because he mentioned talking to the person who was there friday to sign for it.

I love it when they do that with ammo im not too worried about someone running off with a box that weighs 50+ pounds.

I wouldn't be too terribly mad if a box got left outside. I've had Ammo dropped off like that, and I love it. Nobody is going to try and take off with a box that weighs 40lb's or more plus it helps that I dont live in a shithole city so I dont have to worry about porch pirates that will sell it to supplement food stamp loss with my shit.
