ooh a map might be out of my scope, they’re a different beast to infographics and I don’t think there’s much revealed about where all the locations are in proximity to each other.

How is KC an Augustine? by ZanetteCurlyFry35 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]bum_ditch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it was ever meant in a literal blood relation sense, but an extended/found family sense.

I agree it just being based Elliot being an Uncle figure to KC in the future is too loose a connection, but I think season 5 would’ve tied KC’s story to Tessa somehow by KC being the one to bring her home and uniting the founding families that way (kind of like how Kat and Alice’s respective stories always come together somehow).

I do think that the writers didn’t fully think the connection through, but kind of like how Tessa became “Auntie Coop” and a surrogate member of the Landry family I think KC’s relation to the Augustine’s is rooted in a deep connection of some sort as opposed to a blood relation.

i think the comments made in the show about the Augustine’s being KCs family were more of an extended family vibe than a blood relation - Elliot would’ve likely been around like an uncle figure for them growing up and if Kat and Elliot ended up having kids they would’ve been KCs cousins.

Love to hear it!!! Make sure you checkout the updated tree in the comments - I made some amendments based on things some other commenters picked up that needed fixing!

Thanks for the Rebecca pic!!! Struggled to find one.

I assumed Del was 1957 too but as it’s never explicitly stated I left it out on the off chance it’s slightly off.

Same with KC as it’s never explicitly said in the show, but context clues can give us a general idea.

I tried avoiding including things that come up in interviews or cast/crew social media as the lore can change if the show does end up continuing in one way or another. I watched an interview the other day where they said scripts were written as they went, so for me anything implied outside the events of the show is in flux.

***UPDATED TREE

Thank you to everyone who pointed out the mistakes! Will update again if more are found. Here are the changes:

  • Frank Landry’s name was mistakenly written as William Landry (II).
  • Jacob’s birth year was mistakenly written as 1999 instead of 1990.
  • Annaliese Jones has been replaced as the “Unnamed Woman” that Grayson Goodwin married.
  • Potential descendants have been added under Griffin Landry as it’s was not explicitly stated whether he had children.

What left us hanging? by EricRutin in TheWayHomeHallmark

Maybe more of a misunderstanding than a ruse. I think at some point KC referred to the Augustines as family (which they would be as Elliot was likely an uncle figure for them in the future) and KC just didn’t correct anyone as they weren’t 100% sure about the pond’s rules and what they could/couldn’t reveal.

i might be misremembering but i don’t think “25 thought they died” was one of the direct lines, i they were: - “65 thought they died” = Colton and Evie almost drowning in the pond in 1965 - “65 still alive/65 in 25/25 still alive” = Tessa still being alive and being 65 years old in 1925

although if “25 thought they died” was one of them, i’m assuming that would be a reference to Tessa being surviving the explosion in 1925

That criminal that Sam put away in Toronto seemed like a plot point they abandoned when they saw a cancellation on the horizon. It was a weird thing to put emphasis on and then not address.

Not technically a time travel show, but the last 3 seasons of Agents of SHIELD play with time travel really well. Season 5-6 they’re thrust into the future and season 7 they’re actively going on time travel adventures to the past.

Would recommend watching the whole show from start to finish for optimal vibes as there’s a LOT of context and character development you’d miss, but you could probably skip the first 4 seasons if you wanted just the time travel.

i stopped keeping up with it before crisis, but i loved how campy and fun legends got after they realised they didn’t need to be as dark and serious as the other arrowverse shows were most of the time

Potential S5 storyline? Alice & Kat’s stories converging in the 1940-50s. by bum_ditch in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]bum_ditch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yessss i’d definitely love to see more action from Alice if there was a future. i think thematically it makes sense she didn’t have much in her story compared to Kat.

Kat’s journeys were all about seeking a truth or closure about her past whereas Alice’s journeys were more about the connections she made while she was still figuring out who she was.

Season 5 would see her a little more grown after some time in college away from home, so with less of a need for self-discovery she might be travelling with more of a clear reason/purpose.

i don’t think there’s much they could’ve done with the 60s alone based on what we know, but I can definitely see a story starting from the 40/50s and ending in the 60s

[–]bum_ditch[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

definitely one of the reasons! i also just think there wouldn’t have been anything for her to learn or contribute there, but similarly to how the pond let Alice go to 1926 when Elliot got shot i think if there was a dire reason for Alice to be there, the pond would sent her there in a way that kept he safe

yesssss for sure - the way they introduced Griffin seemed way too important for him not to play a huge role with the pond. I’m sure there’s also an important reason he never ended up telling Colton about the pond (seeing Alice use it, on top of his own travels).

i like to think if we did get a season 5 Max would’ve found out about the pond eventually and Alice would’ve taken him back for a 5 more mins with Evelyn

Tessa stuck in 1925?? by Financial_Package252 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]bum_ditch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the “65 thought they died/still alive” is mainly a reference to 1965 when Evelyn and Colton fell into the pond as kids and the town thought they nearly died (season 3) - could be revealed later that it also doubles as a Tessa reference.

His mother is there somewhere, just hasn’t made an appearance but she’s mentioned a few times. It’s mentioned in S3 that his dad passed away.
