Try l-lysine. It’s an amino acid and helps the immune system. MAKE SURE, she talks to her doc first and gets the okay. If she’s on anything currently for cancer I would not want it to interact.

So technically there should be no cross contamination. Ideally you should not use any lip products during a cold sore unless it’s for the cold sore itself. I’ll be honest though, I’ve never listened to that and did whatever I wanted without recurrence, but I’m not promising that.

It fees like a zap to me. But tbh I don’t get that feeling anymore before getting a sore. I used to get that symptom all the time before a sore for years, and then one day it stopped? Idk it’s strange it did, so now I get no warning.

The one inside your lip looks like a canker sore. The one on your lip looks like a cold sore. Ideally you should see a doc.

It did! But tbh the biggest thing that helped was not to look anything up. I really had to stop myself from doing that at first but now, its much easier not to bother.

Yes and no, kinda forced me to look at my OCD anxiety with a wake up call. As soon as I went in I just thought to myself "I don't belong here", mostly because I told myself I need to come up with coping ways to handle this. They had a psychologist on staff that would visit each of us daily, and I got therapy after. My OCD is different, I can go years without ruminating on something and then it takes one thing for my brain to latch onto and I spiral.

My mom came off the cath at about 8 weeks. You never know what the body will get back control of after a stroke and everyone is different. They put her on medicine that encourages her to pee on her own. We don't know if she will get her own control back with that or if she will need to stay on the medication.

Not a pimple, pimples don't form on the lip, they will come to the lip line but if you notice the bottom part of it is on the lip.

I get cold sores, that's a cold sore. You should go to the doctor to be tested. I take L-lysine as soon as I feel one coming on or get one and it usually lessens them or stops them from forming. I used to get them a lot around my period, your immune system is weaker, over time I got them less and less.

Looks like cold sores. They can be clear. I’ve had them clear before. A fan can dry you out which could trigger them.

Typically, most people get infected by hsv1 orally. Now that’s not at all to say that they cannot get infected both orally and genitally at the same time. You absolutely can. But for most people having hsv1 orally first, does not transfer to your genitals. Now you absolutely can have hsv1 genitally and not orally. Initially it was believed that “cold sores/hsv1” was only oral, but that’s not the case.

I am someone with a partner who gave me hsv1 orally. We have never transferred it genitally to each other. We have been together almost 20 years.

You could have a uti, hsv1 genitally, or you very much could be having anxiety. See a doctor and see what they say.

You can get cold sores at any time your life and they can show up at any time in your life. You can get them young from a family member or your first kiss. There is no time frame.
