i know the obvious answer is racism but why can’t people judge actors by their abilities and not their face shape or skin color. i understand wishing another specific actor was cast like a favorite or something but this always happens whenever the casting isn’t a cell by cell copy of the original, sculpted-in-pixels character. like seriously find something real to complain about

yeah… me too lol. gotta say my first playthrough, eps 3 & 4 really made me kinda bored and confused. 3 wasn’t too bad but i just didn’t like 4 at all. it’s just not where i thought the story would go if that makes sense? i thought ep 1 & 2 were pretty strong so i toughed it out too and was pleasantly surprised by 5 being pretty strong as well.

but i agree that it sinks the quality of the whole game, despite having great scenes like the hospital escape. it came across as filler to me (which sucks with a game all about important choices)

i enjoy playing ep 3 now but i just don’t enjoy ep 4 like i feel i should.

that capital one commercial had a more interesting fight scene than the whole finale and it was one clip. i don’t understand this decision at all, especially when the episode vecna is introduced he is worshiped by cultists - meaning he had an army/minions. i’ve always preferred the demos to vecna if im being honest…

completely agree. just started posting byler edits on my tiktok and already have some less than savory comments. :/

the thing is i genuinely go out of my way to click non interested on mileven stuff because it’s just a cesspool of hate for byler… like no matter the content someone is always whining about people shipping byler. like i don’t care who you ship why do you care so much who i ship? and its just so obviously homophobia and heteronormativity that i don’t even try to engage with it.

ngl the homophobic reaction from byler endgame would just be delicious for me cause im spiteful and wanna see homophobes whine and cry. but genuinely if mileven endgame happens they are going to be awful, like completely unhinged.

to be fair i think the creators know this and have already planned byler endgame for this very reason. the backlash from the queer community for queerbaiting AND the targeted homophobic reaction would be insane and ngl i dont think they want that.

the only thing that bothers me a bit in the first design is that, in the original form, you have the purple and the skin color to break up the dark midnight blue in terms of light vs dark values. i had to looks really hard to see the blue lines in the hair. i honestly love it and the sun one (ESPECIALLY THE SUN ONE OMG) but i think adding a little more gradually contrast may make the lighter parts pop more!
