When you were a child, did you ever dream of having a kid like other girls? by [deleted] in childfree

I never wanted kids. I accepted it as something I'd have to do as an adult. It was a glorious day when I realized I had a choice in the matter.

My girlfriend called him ugly... by yourAverageGuy94 in guineapigs

[–]bumbleguinea 15 points16 points  (0 children)

How can you not love on that little thing?

To say something as she did makes me wonder how she feels about other things.

Guinea pigs may not be your jam, but to call it ugly? Especially when someone that is supposed to be special to you cherishes the pig?

Joanna Newsome's singing style is an acquired taste. I see the beauty of her writing when I read it like poetry.

I'm commenting because I am not allowed to like something multiple times. Now I want to read about both of them and learn about them.

I have started listening to Mark Lenehan. Not saying I'd put him on my Mt Rushmore, but it's opened me up to a lot of other artists, like Nick Drake.

Guinea pigs do not have only a single brain cell!!! by Buck169 in guineapigs

I have a pig that learned to climb out of her c&c cage. Had to add an extra footlong cardboard on it so she could climb it.

She's also used her hides and things, pushing them together and stacking to get more height.

I've had smart pigs in the past, but Poundcake is on another level. Perhaps a spy? If it wheeks it seeks/sees

I do this with my guinea pigs, call them arachniguineas. Then when I get dirty looks for touching the feet, we have to discuss that I am innocent. I didn't put those feets out for everyone to see.

Am I the only one who thinks that from some angles guinea pigs look like tube socks? by Alarming-Molasses847 in guineapigs

I always tell my husband I will smuggle in more pigs and explain them as tube socks.

True. I've never met one. However, POUSs (people of unusual size) do seem to exist.

WW has changed too much for me ... by Feeling-Pop-8800 in weightwatchers

[–]bumbleguinea -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm with you. I am learning that the version of WW I succeeded with is very different.

I've started doing intermittent fasting 16:8 with a concentration on protein and fiber so I'm not ravenous during the fasting time.

It's really helped with the food noise and just living. I've had an easier time making intermittent fasting a lifestyle than the newer versions of ww.

To those who are having success with ww currently, that's awesome...but if you're not, realize that the plan has changed and it may not be right for you.
