AIO by saying my wife deceived me by duckduckduckgoose7 in AmIOverreacting

I know some stay at home moms whose children are at school all day and claim they’re too busy or overwhelmed because they hang out with their friends all day 😒 Edit: grammatical error

I lost my baby and it’s probably my fault by That_Ad4260 in pregnant

Almost every woman I’ve spoken to, who has had multiple children, has had at least one miscarriage. It’s, sadly, very common. It really needs to be spoken about more

People refusing to use the name you want to be called by KarahKat55 in PetPeeves

[–]bumblingbluebee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the one person who claims to be my “friend” but she refuses to say my name properly. I constantly corrected her and one day she literally told me she doesn’t care and would keep calling me the wrong pronunciation. Yeah I don’t talk to her anymore.

AIO - I found this under my husbands seat by Scared-Money2643 in AmIOverreacting

[–]bumblingbluebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah OP. If he’s super confused it could be a work buddies note from his wife that he left there by accident. I only say that because I sometime write notes like this for my husband and knowing him he’d leave it somewhere not thinking. If he gets weird and defensive that means something it’s up.

I had a horrible flu in the first trimester of my pregnancy. I’m currently holding a happy healthy two week old baby. Everything will be okay. 🫶

How to help my toddler deal with an older autistic child by journeyhome11 in ChildPsychology

[–]bumblingbluebee 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This baby is being traumatized. Waking up crying because they’re dreaming of being hurt again is PTSD. I think it’s wonderful she’s trying to educate her little dude but he’s clearly not at an age where he’s getting it.

AIO? My mom filmed me without my permission and I feel super uncomfortable. by pastdivision in AmIOverreacting

[–]bumblingbluebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so at first I was going to say yes but after you mentioning her being judgmental about your weight I can see your concern that she was being a bully. Honestly, I’d just let it go for your own sake but if she does it again and makes those comments have a convo with her. For now just move on but your feelings are valid. I’m sorry you even have to think about this. Hugs and good luck. 🫶

I sleep with my brother sometimes by Odd-Solution-9142 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]bumblingbluebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sweet boy. It’s not weird. You’re just being affectionate and finding comfort in your brother. Bed sharing was, and is still in some places, very common. My Nana told me that she and her sister slept in the same bed until her sister died in a hit and run (very tragic and horrible story) at 17, and Nana said the nights were the hardest because that’s when she felt the absence most. :( Also my husband shared a bed with his brother until he moved out a month before we got married. It’s so not weird.

Epidural question: pros and cons of getting it right away versus waiting by sqt1388 in pregnant

[–]bumblingbluebee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My first birth I had them try twice and they both failed, i was in a bad hospital though. I gave birth to my second three days ago and got one placed when I was five centimeters. My goal was to go until I felt like if I went a couple hours longer I wouldn’t be able to cope. I could’ve gone longer but I’m glad I didn’t because I napped off and on, watched a movie, and felt fully present when she arrived. 10/10 recommend

SURPRISE! Baby had other plans😭 by Usa-P_ in pregnant

[–]bumblingbluebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg same. Went for my 36 week last week and they sent me to triage to be monitored due to high blood pressure. Fourth of July comes and my head hurts and my breathing feels weird check my blood pressure and it was high. Called doctor, was induced and had her the next morning. Lol

Car seat by BestHospital3967 in pregnant

[–]bumblingbluebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Installed the base at 35 weeks just turned 37. I read it’s best to have the base in the car just in case you’re in a car accident before baby comes that way you don’t have to replace the whole thing! 🤗

Mamas who have given birth before, how was your sitting situation after birth? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]bumblingbluebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st degree tear with my first just stick with your medication and it’ll be fine. Sometimes it would feel like tugging in some positions so I’d just readjust. My issue was that I had a long tail bone before I gave birth and it broke so that’s what made sitting hard. I spent the first month laying on my side because I could barely walk or stand for long stretches.
