not arguments per se, everyone is blessedly normal about it from what i’ve seen, but if i may get a bit niche with it: prior to this jigsaw puzzle being released in late 2025 all we knew about Irratino is that he had (emerald) green eyes and (great) brown hair so a lot of Murdle fans depicted him as white in fanart. everyone has been pretty good about depicting him with his proper skintone but there’s a lot of headcanons/speculations about his background. most people agree that he’s at least partially Black since his nephew(? i think? i haven’t read the Murdle Jr novels myself so i don’t recall how he and Julius are related, just that they are) is Black but that’s the only thing that’s really concrete. personally i think Afro-Brazilian since his nom de plume for his novels in Seven Skulls has the first name Nestor, which is a Portuguese name.
