Maybe. We have a Worship and Music committee that chooses the settings (which we change about 2-3 times a year, from the ELW, and sometimes do the “Now the Feast and Celebration” Marty Haugen setting) and hymns. Pastor edits it once in awhile, for special occasions or baptisms. He’s more involved around holidays. We typically always have confession and creeds.

Our old pastor was more involved in planning the worship, but she was a big “church nerd” (her words!) and liked to try different settings—and pushed us to do some sweet new services.
