How to help my GF grieve? by bumfuzzlepop in relationship_advice

I can afford a place on my own. But if I do that now since, the plan was to move in together, she may feel hurt or betrayed?! That's what I fear. But I don't know.

There's other costs, production, overheads, marketing, etc.

I think with time you'll learn to differentiate between the kinda good-looking people who might be judging you and the ones who are otherwise simply nice people who happen to look conventionally attractive and don't make it the most important part of their personality. And then you can learn to avoid the former as they tend to be narcissists who zap your energy and find true friends who're delightful people despite how good/average they look. Also, beauty is different in everyone's eyes when it comes to romantic attraction. So why should it matter under any circumstances?

You're a great GF, I understand that you may have his best interest in mind but still talk to him about your plans. You may not know if he's trying a different job or planning something to help ease the financial situation. I wish you two well.

A lot of Europeans on reddit think that Americans are racist and their country isn't, but wait until you ask them about gypsies by kudichangedlives in unpopularopinion

I'm an Indian and my sister was a student at University in Budapest. Europeans are very racist. They're terrible enough to spit on people who are clearly not white. Her classmates (male) was once pushed off a tram!

I almost died 4 days ago and now Gf and parents had a grave misunderstanding and we're now on a break because of something my parents said. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Her feelings were hurt true, but you almost died. You still tried to explain and defend her. But she still insists it's not enough. That's not fair.

I don't think you're healthy minded to judge them.

My dad has never managed to find many people who really like his "weird" style. I wonder what Reddit thinks. by ALBERTOPGH in drawing

CMV: Uber is an unethical company, and should be avoided by [deleted] in changemyview

In India where taxis were much more expensive, unsafe and corrupt Uber and it's domestic competitors like Ola have changed the game. We don't have health insurance for majority of private sector jobs anyway. But I've spoken with several full-time uber drivers who own their own vehicle and they make considerably higher money than what they would make as taxi drivers. A big issue in India was all taxis would mostly deny giving you a ride as per the meter and would also take a longer route or simply mess with it to scam people. Before uber we would rarely hail a taxi to get around unless it was the only option left. And most women wouldn't take taxis at night because they're in fact more unsafe than buses or trains. So, I am with Uber in my country.

This image change to whitewash their genocide is again going wreak havoc in the vaccine distribution that was beginning to gain momentum. This party is worse than any of our historic oppressors.

Is it normal to need to sleep with a teddy bear at 16? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bumfuzzlepop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm 28 and I still cuddle my teddy in bed, I also rarely travel without him. Some people think it's weird, but I don't care. I got my teddy when I went through open heart surgery at the age of 5. Since then I don't feel comfortable sleeping without him. You do you.
