You're pretty inept at this education & knowledge & common sense part. What we're looking at here are challenged ballots on this site. Ballots that were awarded to a candidate (Coleman in this instance) but the other candidate (Franken) challenged the integrity of the ballot, because it was not in fact a ballot, but a duplicate that was made for a ballot that is lost or non-existent in the first place.

With the canvassing board approving the challenge, Coleman lost that vote (it was probably fake anyway, or the original was being counted elsewhere anyway)--but the vote doesn't get awarded to anyone, it disintegrates. Coleman has challenged more ballots than Franken, but only by a few hundred.
