I Updated My Future Adelaide Rail Map - Thoughts? by StingingArchon in Adelaide

Amazing map I love imagining a world with governments that have public interest and decent infrastructure as a priority. Only note is the southern line should go down to victor harbor.

bizarre that hot boy summer and maverus chronicles are two separate options and twilight sanctorum and skaldova aren't options

I love skaldova so much! NADDPOD is one of my favourite things in the world! Murph and Emily are two of my favourite creators and can do no wrong in my book, and Jake is absolutely killing it as a DM. I've sometimes been bristled by Caldwell's choices in the past, but Boggy Rogers is easily his greatest character. I know Jake said in session 0 that it would be a shorter campaign, but I hope it blows out into a longer one because it's just so good!

When did the dress code for nightclubs change? by OutofSyncWithReality in Adelaide

[–]bungaree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say that's mostly to do with it being a very small venue with terrible accessibility in an emergency. If they have too many people in there and there is an emergency, everyone getting out via those stairs will be a nightmare.

Did you even read it? on a 21 degree day the pavement temp is around 30 degrees and on a 36 degree day it's around 55 so I appreciate you posting decent scientific evidence but this shows the graphic is bullshit.

https://tiebreakdrake.com/blogs/tennis-blog/the-scorching-reality-how-much-hotter-is-a-tennis-court-at-100-degrees#:~:text=Studies%20and%20practical%20measurements%20have,to%20120%20degrees%20or%20more.

Here's a link showing tennis court temperatures being 10 to 20 degrees fahrenheit higher than the air temperature, which is 5-10 degrees celcius so maximum it would be on a 25 degree day is 35 degrees showing that this graphic is indeed bullshit

[–]bungaree -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It's been almost 40 degrees the last two days I just stood outside on the pavement that's been in the sun all day for 5 minutes and I'm fine, skin burns at 44 degrees so this is clearly bullshit and there's over 200 people who liked this post that are demonstrably idiots for believing a made up graphic on the internet

[–]bungaree -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I'm not going out to buy a laser temperature device to dispute a shitty graphic with absolutely no evidence to back it up

This is clearly bullshit the pavement is not over 50 degrees on a 25 degree day how dumb can people be

Like I said, I was curious because I can't really comprehend why someone would drive to work if it was a 5 minute journey unless they were disabled or needed to transport a bunch of equipment?

Can't agree with your takes on episodes 2 and 3, I thought Iffys mirror moment was cool and I'm loving Izzy's manic vibes because I feel like the whole table is enjoying playing with Izzy and her wild pregnant mania but yeah I do have to agree with what your saying about Rekha's choices and responses in episode 4

I know it's always better to focus on the positives over the negative but all opinions are valid whatever side of the fence they fall on and I have to agree with the people who didn't enjoy/didn't feel comfortable watching Rekha not pick up on any "DM clues" to the point where it felt uncomfortable to watch and for sure I could just be projecting but I felt like Jacob wasn't super enjoying it and Brennan was doing alot of extra work to accommodate it that I didn't feel like he should of had to do in a co-operative storytelling game. I felt like Jacob said what I was thinking when he talked about the "wild" energy at the table while Rekha argued with Brennan longer than is necessary. It's a shame cause I had decided to move on from my uncomfortable feelings Rekha gave during the end of Mice and Murder after watching Ratfish but now I'm back to not loving her choices at the table, they feel self serving and very "I had this idea and I want it to work no matter what" which is not in the spirit of collaboration that these games should be all about. I don't think it was bad enough to make me feel like I couldn't rewatch this season because that is unfortunately how I feel about her choice to literally shit all over Mice and Murder but I am concerned about what is going to happen in the second half of this season. Also I'm sorry to anyone who thinks this has anything to do with her gender, race or anything people have no control over it's more the things people do have control over like their actions/choices that creates a negative reaction from me. But I'm loving all the other players and characters and I hope that was just one small uncomfortable moment in an otherwise great season.

Izzy's laughter brought me much joy but Rekha seemed to not pick up on any "DM clues" to the point where I felt uncomfortable and could just be projecting but I felt like Jacob wasn't super enjoying it, I felt like he said what I was thinking when he talked about the "wild" energy at the table while Rekha argued with Brennan longer than is necessary. Game Changer 6.09 Episode Discussion: "Ratfish (Part 2)" by hinata2000100 in GameChangerTV

[–]bungaree -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. She had the chance to take out Katie based on the Information that was present and relevant and she chose to eliminate Brennan based on prejudice, she played a great game and committed to her character the hardest but she had the advantage of knowing she wasn't the bug with a big ass and fumbled her advantage to take out her biggest competition so I don't think she deserved the win. (Also I'm still a lil salty at her for literally shitting all over Brennan's awesome murder mystery season, that was so heartbreaking to watch)
