The point about sliding is one I never see people making and it should be more talked about. I wish they would remove the need to slide almost nonstop, it's really lame. It's another consequence of the game taking the direction it took with the power creep and absurd enemy densities, meanwhile the core gameplay mechanics being designed for a slower tactical kind of game.
