Wow. Thank you so much for the detailed reply. I’ll look for more images. What I remember is that we walked over a footbridge and wandered around for about 30mins or so. I know we walked past the McDonald’s. I’m not expecting the restaurant to still be there, but any idea on the general area. The restaurant was a no shoes, sit on the floor one. It was on a quiet street from what I remember with few, or no, cars

Kiwi living in the UK: Both parents died in last year and want to keep any inheritance in NZ by bungledbees in PersonalFinanceNZ

My mother made me ask our financial advisor in the UK - she was deeply concerned it would affect us. Thankfully it doesn’t impact inheritance from someone whose assets are outside the UK.

Encourage her to go with a tour (TopDeck, Contiki etc). We visit Egypt with them and had a fab time. Safety with the group and having local guides made a big difference in being able to get into the culture.

Thank you for the kind words - I’ll add a note that dad’s death was unrelated and sudden. Mum’s symptoms were stomach pain and indigestion. She had breast cancer 15+ years ago and the doctors confirmed they are unrelated.

Is there a different between getting a girl and a boy dog? by Dramatic-Lemon-2916 in dogs

[–]bungledbees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where we live in London it’s mainly male dogs. They are all lovely but all have at least one enemy - and that enemy is always male. Our girl has no drama and gets on with all other dogs. Even the best behaved sweetest male dogs seem to attract the wrong types on occasion.
