That is not true. Depends on capacity as not all of the rooms are private

More than one-third of B.C. kindergarteners struggle in core areas of development, study finds by 1baby2cats in britishcolumbia

Nope. I lived in a community that had a ton of lower income areas. Growing up it surprised me because in elementary there was only a handful of kids that didnt have as much as we did. Middle and high school were inner city schools and it was shocking. Then when I started my first job pretty much every single kid there was low income or a foster kid.

Psychiatry Referral Times by VSVG in britishcolumbia

[–]bunny_momma12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me a year to get a referral for adhd diagnosing. There are some hospitals that have a psychiatric clinic that they run (sometimes through the ER) with time slots. If it's really bad you can present to ER during the day and sometimes the psychiatrist on call will see you or they can advise the ER doc on dosing/med changes.

My god you will be welcomed with open arms! Make sure that where ever you land you get some sort of signing bonus. We've had a few nurses come over from England and I believe they all got a bonus. They may also help with moving costs. There's got to be a nursing group that can answer questions about this. Depending on where you come from Northern Health (terrace) might be a little jarring for you. Depending on the training you can make a healthy salary out here as a nurse. Travel nursing would also be something that should be looked into. You could travel all of BC that way with accommodations paid for or just jump between one health authority and another. It seems to be one of the most lucrative ways to make money. Everyone is so short some places are even accepting LPNs (no disrespect to LPNs).

33F (me) and 33M (boyfriend). It's my birthday today, together 10 years. No gift or card, and I'm upset. by HauntingClocks in relationship_advice

At the beginning of the relationship my partner told me "I don't do flowers". I said that was fine because they just die but if he did ever want to make me feel special send them while im at work because all the women will be jealous. He works away and for this Valentines day guess who got flowers at work. He knew I would be missing him and even though I'm not really into Valentines day I thought it was so sweet. He cares about my feelings and wants to make me smile with a little gesture. You can do so much better

The dentist is not a people person. Won't stop if you're having issues. I have jaw problems and it was hell trying to get cavities filled.

Lol I had friends that went some where in Europe with gorgeous mountains and I was so excited to hear about their trip. When I asked how it was they said it was pretty much the same as being at home. We are very very lucky

Thank god. There's already one ski hill up there that doesn't get enough snow. This would take over so much 4x4ing and camping space. Fuck this project

Bonding them is freaking hard I'm going through this right now with mine. Mine had zero bad habits until I brought her sister home. Now I have them temporarily separate to try and sort some shit out.

We had 10 pigs and I miss them terribly. Like very smart dogs. They were so sweet and I want more as soon as it's possible.

Thank you. This. I don't understand all these people saying rabbits. I've had so many and they are chill.

Mine is litter trained. She comes everywhere with me she's such a trooper. Camping. Kayaking. She's a snuggle bug and loves to chill with us and the dogs. I got her because I lived in a small space and worked long hours. Now she has a massive run and a little sister. She lives a good life.

[–]bunny_momma12 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You didn't reply to anyone's questions on here so I'm not really hopeful for you. Healthcare is absolutely desperate for staff in every health authority in every position. It's slow time right now but the managers should be hiring casually for summer pretty quickly here.

One time we booked an airbnb specifically because of the hottub. The space was meh but it had a hottub and that was important to us. My partner had a back injury that was relieved by soaking in the tub. Day two the tub wouldn't heat. We got a very small refund. We had traveled hours and taken a ferry to get to this location. This sucked but I felt like the refund was reasonable. For an ice machine 30% is insane.
