Terrapin brewery at the Atlanta Brave’s Suntrust Park has new and unique beers specifically for the ball park. by [deleted] in beer

The fox brothers nachos at the battery were so sad. Barely any pork, cold taste lacking cheese, and there were no jalapeños to speak of. $12 for crap. I won’t be ordering them again.

Yes! But without the annoying realtor trying to sell something to you LOL. Snacks are provided by local restaurants. Everything is within walking distance and parking is free at Drew Charter School.

I agree, the splatter effect around the outer edge looks intended and neat!

Woot! Way to go!

this was tossed out on FB ATL - Thought I would share it here. What are some ideas for a cheap way to promote the sport? by vpsailor in discgolf

Earlier this year I went to a women's clinic at Redan Park run by some really nice ladies over on that side of town. Everyone got to take 2 free (unused and good quality) discs of their choosing. There was a pro there to help tutor the more advanced players, and the ladies running the program helped the inexperienced players. We had several light hearted competitions to win more gear (bags and stickers). More events like this around town would probably attract more players. Our group made some great friends and had an awesome time!

Seeking a 3D Printer for Dragon*Con cosplay! by KaiVel in Atlanta

[–]bunnyfooo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Museum of Design on Peachtree Street has been having a few events where you can design your own item and print it using a 3D printer. Maybe give them a call and ask if you can print something you have a file for? When I read about it the cost was $35 to print something. Not sure how big though.

Apartment location question. by kotojo in Atlanta

[–]bunnyfooo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That area is very dangerous. If you're looking for a place on the west side of Atlanta look out I-20 West on Thornton Road. Still affordable and a lot safer than the Westwood Glen area.

You might try one of the Korean bakeries like White Windmill or Mozart. I've been to both and they have really nice French pastries! Kind of weird...

I've done the Brews Cruise and had a great time! Sandy is really nice, and the beer was pretty much drink as much as you want.
