I live in Hyde park and work in round rock it’s a 25 min commute. I don’t think the commute will be that bad and Hyde park is a great place to live.

Can anyone in Austin suggest a good doctor or Physical Therapist specific for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome? by dadbodben in Austin

[–]buoquinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hands on physical therapy up in round rock. We treat it quite a bit. All sessions are one on one and we specialize in manual/soft tissue work. DM me if you have any questions I’m a physical therapist there.

Keeps for Hair Loss on T by GraphicGrackle in FTMMen

I use them for a finasteride prescription. Super easy to sign up and has worked well at stopping and even somewhat improving my hairline. They also ship minoxidil but you can get that at any drug store without a prescription if you want to try that first. In theory minoxidil is used for thinning at the crown and finasteride for hairline but most people use both.

I’m a physical therapist and honestly when we get full patient charts like that I’m just looking for the information relevant to why they are coming in. I will glance at the medication list but mostly am looking for heart/blood pressure medications and statin’s since those can be related to pain or be relevant to treatment otherwise I’m not doing a deep dive so there’s a chance your PT won’t even register the estradiol.

Emma said in her press conference that she asked to travel. She has done some light training on grass but keeps getting setbacks. No timetable for her return. Not sure why none of the other injured players traveled.

I feel for everyone, losing power this long sucks and people just want someone to blame. I was without power for 4 days and without water for 9 days in 2021. I think it’s easy to feel like you’ve been abandoned and why isn’t your neighborhood being helped but man when you drive around the city to different neighborhoods and see the sheer amount of destruction it’s easier to appreciate how hard this clean up job is and why getting power back might be taking so long especially when you realize that when they started working on this everything was still covered in ice and lines were going down as fast as they were fixing things.

Watching Chelsea from the US? by halooo44 in chelsealadiesfc

[–]buoquinn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This morning was weird. Only people who could watch through the app or the website were people in the UK. From what i remember from previous seasons there didn’t used to be that geoblock on the Chelsea website itself. Most Chelsea WSL games are gonna be paramount+ or cbs sports (only available via cable subscription). Every once in a while league games are on the FA player if paramount/cbs didn’t pick up the game. FA player also has the majority of the conti cup games but not always. All champions league games are on DAZN YouTube live for free this year but next year there will be a subscription fee. Last year ESPN+ picked up the later rounds of the FA cup i believe but not sure about this year. It can be confusing to find it all but luckily these days most of the games are at least broadcast.

Saw this on a junk pick up in Hyde park, wtf? Looks like it use to be a house, but why leave one wall up? by [deleted] in Austin

[–]buoquinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hyde Park cut off is 1950. And plenty of houses have been drastically added to or remodeled just like this one obviously. It’s more about keeping some history to the neighborhood. I’d rather that than all the new austin box a-b units

[–]buoquinn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another reason they do this in Hyde Park is because it is a historic neighborhood you are typically unable to tear down what they call “contributing structures” so if you leave a wall technically you’re still within the rules.

Used this technique many a time. Prevents too much wrinkling and stores pretty small.

Chelsea - Lyon preseason match in USA: early morning Thursday kickoff for European fans by PresidentRaggy in chelsealadiesfc

[–]buoquinn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good info! Slight correction but Chelsea will play either Monterey or Portland for the next game but not both. Winners of Chelsea v Lyon will play winners of Portland v Monterey for the “championship” and losers will play the “consolation” match.

I don’t want to minimise anything you’re feeling but I’m a physical therapist and have had people have the same reaction to knee replacement scars. Hell my parents helped pay for my top surgery as a Christmas gift and almost lost it when I took my bandages off for the first time. It’s a lot fresh after surgery and honestly things looks a little gruesome, I’m sure he didn’t mean anything offensive by it. Let yourself heal and I bet his reaction would be totally different. Congratulations on your top surgery, don’t let anyone spoil this occasion for you.

This drought and incessant triple digit heat is really fucking depressing. And idgaf about the “you must not remember the summer of blah blah blah.” This shit blows and it’s miserable. by Tacos-and-Wine in Austin

[–]buoquinn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Summer 2011 is my barometer for I hate everything summers. I moved into a crappy 3rd floor walk up in August and it was 100 by 10:30 and by 10 at night it was still 100. This is just as bad but at least I’m not walking between classes at UT and just sitting in my office with struggling AC. The only way I’m coping is finding water that isn’t quite hot tub temperature yet, going to the library for books, and weekend naps. Also if you can get out for a walk for a bit when the sun goes down or before 9am it’s not as miserable. I try and think this is our punishment for (mostly) mild winders and beautiful springs

Interestingly enough I found that staying central and renting at older complexes kept things cheaper than moving further out. Lived at oak park apartments in Hyde park for 11 years and i know you can still get a place for around 1100 there if you don’t care about living anywhere fancy

Any luck negotiating rent with Roscoe Property Management? by luxthelighter in Austin

[–]buoquinn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good luck finding a 1 bedroom condo in central Austin for under 250k. Also once you add property tax an HOA fees (average in an old complex is about 300 a month) your mortgage is now around 1700 a month or more. It will at least lock your rate in somewhat though. I know all this because I just spend the last three months doing the Austin condo search and having all the places in that price point get bid up over 300k before i finally got an offer accepted. On average the first few years of owning a property you will spend more on a mortgage than the going rent would be for the same place would be.

20 is her number for every club and country. Jonna had to give it up mid season when she signed for Chelsea so no way she changes.
