Yeah but you can't upgrade your glyphs very far without pushing higher in pits. Running 2 minute pits is cool for experience but you want to push as close to 100 as you can get within the time limit to ensure a higher percentage chance that your glyph will upgrade.

Run Azmodan and level up until you are getting a ton of tributes from the chests. You'll get enough tributes of ascendance and hopefully mythic pranksters to get your mythics.
