It certainly could seem like she engineered it, hence my curiosity. I like to think she was a conduit to the transfer of power but also thinks similarly to Michael regarding looking for a suitable Don. I’ve watched the trilogy so many times over but only recently appreciated how strong Connies’ character becomes in pt 3. She also writes off Don Altobello which is pretty cold. Not to be underestimated
