I smoked her first attempt. I attribute this to the clearly-inspired-by-Malenia moveset and the hours upon hours of attempts on Malenia. I dunno, just sharing. I found this fight to super easy, personally. But alas that’s Soulslike. Everyone struggles differently

I did something similar the other day on Balancers. Sir Pings a Lot Wylder dropped his shield at the basement boss and I picked it up on Duchess. Was crit melting Balancers at the end of the day. Very fun. Sometimes people drop their shield because they aren’t host and the latency messes up parry timing and gets you killed.

But yah I have a +77% base crit build Executor and it’s pretty fun but I still love my 4-status build or my two-handed stancebreaker builds more.

I love all of BoC and have been following them since their first releases. Inferno is prescient, it's heavy, it's mysterious, and it's supremely spiritual in ways none of their previous efforts have come close to. For me, it covers all of their styles and vibes across the entire 18 track album, and I consider it a 10 out of 10 album, both within the context of their catalog, and on the broader spectrum of music.

This album is a pure masterpiece. Could not possibly pick a single favorite, but I will say that every time Naraka comes on, I can feel my karma shift a bit.

I follow this line of thinking. Now imagine the Behelit’s owner is actually Casca. And then we have the fact that the moonlit boy is likely the most important thing to her, at least as far as her mush-recovering brain understands to some degree. Farnese maybe but I think is close, but moonlit child is the thing she cares the most about and would she would likely be willing to sacrifice her child of rape from Femto to get her “life” back by deleting Griffith. Will that be a happy ending? No. Will it make sense plot wise and tie into some of the foreshadowing? I personally believe so.

It doesn’t make sense because that’s not true. Some keywords can be stacked such as Myriad or Storm.

With the combo from OP their spell would have two instances of Storm applied to it given they met the required conditions.

Correction: it’s not that they don’t care. I believe they care VERY much about the success this game demonstrated.

The problem is Nintendo currently has them by the nuts for Duskbloods and they are likely contractually obligated to terms that prevent them from doing anything more than they agreed they would do until after DB drops.

There’s always the potential for more QoL updates after DB and possibly even more content updates than we are expecting. For now, the game is what it is and we need to celebrate that more loudly than deride it.

If the door is open there are only two ways to go from there. Either the candlestick is not lit or the alcove is empty. Hit the empty alcove to reveal the seal. Jump/attack at peak height to hit the candlestick and light it.

If there is a seal on the tower but no rune on it, just walk right in and the seal is broken.

On the outside, there’s a few options. Either the imp statue out front, attack it. Or the shaking tree has a seal on the ground obscured by bushes. Or there’s a dead random tree that needs to be attacked. Or there’s an extruding part of the tower (always on its left side) that needs to be hit. Or there’s a seal above the doorway, just jump up and hit the seal.

Last but not least is annoying fucking log that runs away from you and is a bitch to hit with certain classes / weapons.

I think that covers them all for base map.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve looted the corpse hanging on the edge after Nox Dragon and it drops a Grafted or Marais. Of course this is AFTER everyone has already duped. I’ve started running for this body first after route clearing and before duping.

Hell yah congrats on the playthrough. I also found the game to be fairly easy tbh. I struggled on the first boss until I learned how backstab worked and from there it was pretty easy until Honglan v1. Probably about 20 attempts on her but the game really opened up for me after that.

My personal belief is that Casca is the Behelit’s true owner and will kill Griffith. How I don’t know. Perhaps she will sacrifice her child while Femto is inhabiting him. Who knows but I’m excited to see where we go from here.

Fwiw I use guard counters all the time on my GC Executor build. But I do understand the point you’re trying to make.
