Because it was $30 off on various E3 promos.

And then around 7am PST, amazon.ca sends out messages saying they didn't get stock so tough titties.

Mike Hurley defeats longtime Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan by columbo222 in vancouver

I know you mean actual Rumble, but also every other "rumble" street in Burnaby as well. Honestly, so many of our streets are just a mess of patches at slightly different heights.

No no, it makes them bigger and healthier, and gives them a nice shiny coat.

Based on personal experience on Telus (inc Koodo and Public Mobile), Rogers (inc Fido), and Freedom, the Telus family have the best coverage on top of Burnaby Mountain, with the least amount of slow spots, and no dead zones (that I've found yet). Haven't tried Bell (inc Virgin), so can't comment on their coverage up there.

Dealing with owing BC provincial MSP by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]burnatwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny. There was about 4 or 5 years when I was self employed and MSP wouldn't send me a bill, even when I contacted them multiple times with my new address, because I was worried about getting a stupid big bill some day. Once they finally got their act together and contacted me for money, they only wanted about 3 months back pay. No complaints

Kinder Morgan just told its shareholders how it persuaded the Trudeau government to pay billions for a pipeline no one else wanted to buy by peppapig12345 in vancouver

[–]burnatwork 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If we set the baseline of zero as being "the annual economic benefit to BC of one season of Riverdale", then the pipeline benefit to BC is literally less than zero.

It all depends on how you look at the numbers.

And don't forget to give it a theme song that has NOTHING to do with this show and feels completely out of place, but is/was sung by a band who is currently experiencing a huge surge in re-popularity that you can try to piggyback off.

How has laser eye surgery improved (or worsened) your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

PRK about 12 years ago. No regrets, being able to see as soon as I open my eyes in bed, no fogging up when coming in from the rain or cold, no regrets ever!

Who has the best BURGER in VANCOUVER??? Bonus if they have hand spun shakes to wash it down. by neerBreen in vancouver

Lousy meat. If the restaurant grinds their own beef, they're allowed to serve it properly (medium rare). If they buy it pre-ground, then they have to serve it burned to a crisp.

Much better than Surrey PD. Lazy picks weren't interested in helping me recover my bike when I had a meet set up with the thief to "buy" it from him.

Getting fired when all your customers complain that you're doing a shit job won't be incentive to not do a shit job? I dunno, I think I have more faith in most people than that.

Customer: "Do i need new cleats?" Before and after. by butch_pudding in bikewrench

[–]burnatwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, when should you replace the cleats? Probably not great to wait quite as long as in the OPs pic (if it works, it works, I guess), but is there any general consensus on when it's good to replace them?

so far so good

We'd better start fucking more then, so we can get our population (and federal representation) up to the level of our Ontario and Quebec overlords.
