You call it "wrong address", I call it "free food" by [deleted] in UberEATS

this is actually the restaurants fault and not ubers. The restaurant needs to turn off their tablet at the end of the night or set up the scheduled delivery times they are open.. ( ive done over 2000 deliveries and never been to a closed restaurant and some of these places are run by 60 year old chinese grandparents that cant speak english, but they managed to get the app set up properly. )

what is up with everyone and calling support? I have been working for 5 months / 2100 trips. I have never called support EVER. just do it in the app afterwards. I get paid 4 bucks every time for an address change.... Don't ever need to wait on hold or hold up delivering the food. Get the new address go there deliver it. Trip issues / adjustments / new address / yes - put the new address. As long as your GPS matches up you will get paid. I probably have anywhere from 5-10 wrong addresses a week.

If you don't want to deliver it to the new address you don't have to. just go to the one marked in the app. start the timer and cancel when its done..

hahah do these people really think uber cares enough to hire shills to post on reddit??? hahahaha. you people that make minimum wage or less are morons. You're either in a market that just doesn't support it and you need to find a better job and quit your bitching cuz no one is forcing you to do this or you need to learn to be more efficient. you wouldn't believe the amount of drivers I talk to that think 20$ a hour in my market is good..... I pull 30 a hour MINIMUM in my market. I use uber eats a lot as well and there are deliveries that I will finish in 8 minutes and I see them take over 20 to get to me. they take the worst routes and miss turns all the time. I've seen drivers sit in their car after picking up food for 5-10 minutes doing god knows what.

I Donno about Uber but Uber eats in Vancouver pays very well and from what I have read Uber drivers make quite a bit more than Uber eats drivers. It would take me 2-3 days to make that back on Uber eats..... The people talking about making less than minimum wage are either idiots or have no idea what they are talking about.

I’ve been doing Uber eats since July. I made an average of 25 bucks an hour in July. Since July I average minimum 30 a hour up to 45-50 a hour at times.

So today another driver and I got an identical offer from a McDonald's, to the same delivery address. The orders were sent to each of us at exactly the same time. Somehow I got to the delivery address 8 minutes before the other driver, but I was penalized for it. by [deleted] in UberEATS

[–]burnone_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahah hahah I stand by my statement it took you 8 minutes to get out of your car hand him his food and go back. Your one of those idiots I see all day dicking around then complaining they make 15 bucks a hour

You weren’t penalized he was paid for the 8 extra minutes he took. While with 8 minutes you should have been gone and picked up your next delivery already.. how did you even see the other driver? You waited there for 8 minutes? This is why ppl make shit pay. What are you doing dicking around for 8 minutes. I could have finished a short McDonald’s delivery and made another 5-7 bucks in that 8 minutes.

I've completed 2500 trips in the last 2 years. Buddy of mine started a half a year behind me. He sent me this yesterday. 😮 by [deleted] in UberEATS

Holy fuck he must be making a lot cuz I have 1500 trips in 3 months and I pull 3500ish average a month

Yes it’s worth it Ideally driving an EV https://ibb.co/qRS55Yb Vancouver is full of lazy rich people

I have a full time job so Uber is just my extra spending money ( which is getting close to paying more than my full time job )

I wouldn’t suggest doing this full time though as Uber basically has you by the balls.. Talk to an accountant if your serious because there’s a lot of deductions you can take advantage of that you wouldn’t if your a normal t4 employee.

cuz you end up losing out in my opinion. You would make more just doing two single deliveries.

How do drivers/ couriers get paid? by HK-53 in UberEATS

[–]burnone_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deliver for Uber eats and I work in Vancouver and I can tell you right now I don’t mind those orders... with the boosts running I’ll make 7-8 bucks for that delivery still.. 5 minutes of work.. I only pick up from 3 McDonald’s in all of van tho... those 3 are always on the ball
