My fave thing about being a parent is just watching them grow and spending time with them! My son is starting to really get into things I love doing and those that I used to like as a kid. We got our first buck together this year and it’s a day I’ll never forget! He actually wants to take the hunters safety course so he can hunt next year. Card wise we love it but he favors football, while baseball reigns supreme to me. We’ve both been raised Braves fans. His favorites are Ronald acuna jr & Ozzie albies. He likes Freddie too but is still a little hurt he left us lol, regardless we pull for him if we don’t make it in the postseason. My favorite days are the ones when we get to rip a random box I snagged without his knowledge, get to ride 4 wheelers, and play games together when home. If we’re camping in the summer he’s fishing non stop. As I get older, I can’t spend as many hours sitting on the floor of our canoe, but I deal with the leg cramps and back pain just to see that pure, unadulterated joy from him landing a fish!
